The Schoolhouse |
If you have come to this page, you are here for additional information. I do not know how much info you want, so I will do this in steps. When you have gotten what you need, just stop reading. If you continue on, this page becomes a spoiler. It is up to you how far you read. If you do not want a spoiler, stop when you have enough clues to continue on your own!! |

The schoolhouse is accessible only by the submarine. It has important information. It also has some things which are just for your own amusement...things just to look at. You have to determine what is important in here. Just think of yourself as a student in a real classroom, and think things through. If you give it enough thought, you will be able to tell what is trying to give you clues and what is not. |

The Clues |
The thing that looks like a bingo-ball cage with the handle is simply a holographic image of Ghen speaking to the students in the schoolroom. He is speaking in Rivenese, so you can't understand him. It has nothing to do with any puzzles in the game, and there is no information to be learned from this. To listen, just click on the handle on the right. |

There is only one thing in the schoolroom which will give you needed information. It looks like a wooden toy with a fish on the base and two people figures hanging upside-down above it. |

When you click on the ring and activate it, the "fish" (actually called a "Whark") will rotate to the opposite side, under one of the figures. At the same time, symbols will begin to spin in the window on the base. As soon as the spinning stops, one symbol will be displayed. |

As SOON as the spinning stops, the figure above the whark will begin to lower, one click at a time. |

Count the number of clicks as the figure lowers. Draw the symbol in the window on paper, and write down the number of clicks. That is the number for the Rivenese symbol displayed. Every time you activate it, this gadget will display a different number. |
