"Being a model is fun."  Cal laughed, kissing James.  "Okay but I'll see you soon."

"Okay," he agreed with a smile.

"Alright."  She smiled and left the house, walking towards the park.

She was stopped on the way there.  "Cal?"  Krit's voice was easy enough for her to

recognize.  "What are you doing here?? Where have you been??"

"Krit!"  Cal's eyes widened.  "Thank God you're here!"  She covered, hugging him.

"We found the Paris base.  We're on Spencer's tail."  A strange glow lit his eyes.  "We found you, thankfully, and now we're going to find Cass.  And I'm going to marry her."

"Wait...what?"

"She's pregnant.  Cass is pregnant, she's having my child, and we're getting her away from that bastard and bringing her back.  And I'm going to ask her to marry me when we do."

"She's not here..."

"It doesn't matter, they'll strip the base here.  We'll find her.  Are you okay??"

"Yeah… I'm fine..."

"We've got to go, you've got to get back.  Aidan's going to be really glad to see you... I'm

going to stay.  I've got permission from the higher-ups to stay out looking for her because obviously, where Cass is, Spencer's going to be."

"Yeah..."

"Come on."  He escorted her away to a car quickly, and they headed for the airport.

Cal looked out the window and stifled tears.  This wasn't fair...

"Hey, it's okay.  You're on the way home now."

"I know."

James tore through the house.  "FUCKING SHIT!"  He bellowed.  "Empty this place!"  He yelled at a group of agents.  "Now!  We're leaving!"  He called Garrett.

Krit smiled a bit.  "Do you think... do you think she'll be glad to see me, when we find her?"

"Spencer."

"I don't know...probably."

"Boss, we've got a problem," James said without preamble.  "They found Paris.  And they found Cal."

"God, I hope she says yes..."

"Yeah...we'll see."  Cal sighed.

"Shit..."

"Lee's here, he hasn't exactly got his own group but there are people with him.  I do believe he's looking for the Mrs."

"Fuck."

"Good news travels, I guess."

"Yeah...I'll be there soon."

"I guess it was sort of cocky of me when we haven't found her, but I got a ring," Krit said.

"We'll empty the place, but I can meet you in the usual location, or I can try to get Cal off a plane and back with us."

"That's good..."

"Do what you want."

"I'll go after her, can't have her getting back to the IMF.  I'm sure we'll talk."  James hung up and fairly leapt into a car, taking off.

Krit handed Cal her ticket.  "I'm going to get back to work... send Aidan the good news?"

"Yeah...of course..."  Cal whispered.

"Cass, we're leaving."

"Thanks."  He hugged her briefly and then the car left.

"What went wrong?"  Cass asked.

As they pulled out, James (who had broken every traffic law in the world) pulled in and fairly jumped out of the car.

"They have Cal."

Cal looked around.  They’d have people watching her.  She stepped towards the plane gate, crying once more.

"What?!?  Who'd they send?!?"  Cass asked.

"Lee."

"He's not *that* good."

"Well he must have gotten lucky.”

James sighed.  This was going to be impossible, he'd give himself away and then they'd know there was a presence here still.  He didn't have time... "Fuck."  He kicked a nearby piece of litter.

"Probably stumbled into her... they're still looking for Cal?"

Cal sat on the plane, wanting to die.

"They got Cal."

He got back in the car, headed for the cafe where he and Garrett usually met.

Garrett sighed as they headed off.

"But weren't looking for her?  Then what the hell were they doing in Paris?"  Cass asked as they boarded Garrett's jet.

"I don't know!"

She paused.  "It's him... they're... he knows.  He's looking for me because he knows."

"He knows what?"

"About the baby."

"Shit...no."

"He has to..."

"Then we make it so there's no baby."

"You want me to get an abortion."  Cassidy shook slightly.

"I..."

"No, I will," Cass said quietly.  "If you want me to, I will."

"I just..."

"Garrett.  It's alright."

"I feel bad."

"If it's what has to happen, then I'll do it."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Okay."

"So... when we stop... I'll talk to the medical people, and you can do whatever has to be done.”

"Alright."

Cass was quiet, sitting close by his side.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay."

"I guess."

The plane landed shortly thereafter.  Cass was shuffled off by medical personnel.

~*~*~

He had spent too long looking at the images not to know the man immediately when he walked into the cafe.  Krit stood up.

Garrett saw him and glared.

"Spencer."  Krit shot him a look.

"You won't find Cassidy."

"Where is she?"  Krit demanded.

"Why do you care?"

"Plenty of reasons!  She's having my child!  Not that you'd understand..."

"No... she's not."

"Don't lie, I've seen the reports.  She's having my child and I'm going to ask her to marry me."

"The child is being killed as we speak."

"What?"  Krit felt something tighten in his throat.

"It's gone."

"It doesn't matter... I love her... I'll marry her anyway.  I'm going to find her, no matter what the hell you've done to her!"

"She'll never marry you."

“Don’t think that’s really your decision, is it?”

"She's married."  And with that he shot Krit with a tranq gun.

Krit fell to the floor.
