Bacon Swiss Bars

2 cups Bisquick

1/2 cup cold water

8oz sliced Swiss cheese

1 lb. sliced bacon, cooked & crumbled

4 eggs, lightly beaten

1/4 cup milk

1/2 tsp onion powder

 

   Ina bowl, combine the biscuit mix and water, stir 20 strokes.  Turn onto a floured surface; knead 10 times.  Roll onto a 14x10 rectangle.  Place on bottom and 1/2 in. up the sides of a greased 13x9x2 baking dish.  Arrange cheese over dough.  Sprinkle bacon over it.  In bowl, whisk eggs, milk and onion powder.  Pour over bacon.

   Bake at 425º for 15-18 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.  Cut into squares, serve immediately.

Yield: 12 servings
