Indonesia confirms terror target list for Jakarta
Indonesia's national police chief has confirmed the existence of a terrorist target list,
found in the hideout of the suicide bomber responsible for the Marriott Hotel attack in
Jakarta earlier this year.
General Da'i Bachtiar gave no details, but two leading Indonesian newspapers,
Kompas and the Jakarta Post, say nine places were mentioned, including the
Australian International School.
Citibank branches, a suburb popular with expatriates and a second international
school were among other targets mentioned by the papers, citing unnamed senior
police.
12 people died in the August the fifth Marriott bombing, including the bomber himself.
