Poso blast breaks Indonesia's Christmas peace
An explosion has rocked the troubled district of Poso in Indonesia's Central Sulawesi
province, but there was no immediate report of damage or casualties.
Indonesian police say the blast happened at eight pm on Christmas day, but were not
able to locate the explosion.
Poso has been troubled by sectarian violence between Christians and Muslims, since
2000, where a series of bomb blasts left 19 people dead.
Hundreds of police reinforcements have been sent to Poso, where security officials
have been looking for gangs who launched attacks on non-Muslims in recent months.
