Bomb hits Poso, no casualties
POSO (JP) : A low-explosive bomb was detonated in Poso regency, Central Sulawesi
province, on Wednesday, causing panic among locals but no casualties were
reported.
The explosion, which occurred in Jl. Pulau Irian, could be heard from a diameter of five
kilometers.
A few minutes later, a police bomb squad also found a live bomb in the area.
Chief of Poso Police Adj. Sr. Comr. Abdi Dharma confirmed the discovery of the
bomb, saying it was still live.
