Incidentally, Australian Defense Minister Robert Hill this week denied reports that
Australia is in talks with Washington about the US possibly positioning military
equipment, such as tanks and landing ships, in Darwin.

RI May be Next Target of US and Australia after Iraq, Activist Says

Padang - A military base to be built by US and Australian military in Darwin has been
considered by a local Islamic activist here a signal for justifying the two countries' plan
to make Indonesia a potential source of mass murder after Iraq.
Such wicked plan of the two advanced countries should be responded to seriously, as
it is a potential threat to Indonesia's territorial integrity including its eastern provinces,
Chairman of West Sumatera's Islamic Law Enforcement Forum Irfianda Abidin told an
interview here on Thursday.
He said the building of US military base in Australia constituted a conspiracy of the
wicked axis, grouping the US, Australia and the Jews. The aim is to destroy moslems
in Indonesia and to expand US hegemony, and also to materialize Australia's long-run
plans on Indonesia.
