From Putzig to Detroit- Putzig, an East Prussian town in Polish corridor- later renamed in Polish: Jedrzejewo

Below is Obit of Mary HADDAS  - A bit melodramatic- but an interesting read:

John Haddas', Michael's child who died in 1902, death certificate shows a "Veronika Dollaf" as mother. Gertrude Templeton, in the 1977 the eldest Haddas and sharp, wrote with exclamation that her name was "Marcianna".
There is a Marcianna Haddas in Putzig records- Also Dollaf isn't a Prussian type name, probably is Detloff. TBD

Possible relative spotted on web-  Mother -Marianna HADDAS giving birth to Martha 1867. Father: Anton Porzondke. In addition, the DOLLAF name mentioned on a family website. Name possibly DETLOF / DETTLOF which was a common surname in the Putzig and Gdansk area.
