Amish Friendship Bread

DAY 1: Do nothing, {this is the day you receive the batter] Go by the date on the bag.
DAY 2:Mush The bag
DAY 3:Mush the bag.
DAY 4:Mush the bag.
DAY 5:Mush the bag.
DAY 6:Add to the bag: 1 cup Flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup Milk... then mush the bag again.
DAY 7:Mush the bag.
DAY 8:Mush the bag.
DAY 9:Mush the bag.
DAY 10:Follow the instructions below: Mix with wooden or plastic spoon spatular
    1. Pour entire contents of bag into a non-metal bowl.
    2. Add 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 1/2 cups milk. Mix.
    3. Measure out 3 seperate batters [ 1 cup each ] into 3 different one gallon Ziploc bags. Keep a starter for yourself and give thee other 2 to friends along with a copy of this recipe. Should this not be passed to a friend the first day, be certain to tell the friend which day the bag is on when presented to them. it is helpful to date the bag.
    4. Prehest the oven to 325 degrees
    5. To the remaining batter [approximately 2 cups] in the non-metal bowl, add:
      3 large Eggs
      1 cup Oil [or 1/2 cup Oil and 1/2 cup applesauce]
      1/2 cup Milk
      1 cup Sugar
      1 tsp. Vanilla
      1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
      1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
      1 tsp Salt
      2 cups Flour
      1 large or 2 small boxes Vanilla Pudding [ see options below]
    6. Grease 3 Large or 5 small loaf pans.
    7 Mix 1/2 cup sugar with 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon in a seperate bowl.
    8. dust the greased pans with 1/2 the mixture.
    9. poor batter into pans and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon and sugar mixture over the batter.
    10. Bake 1 hour for a large loaf or 45 minutes for the small loaves.
    Cool 10 minuetes.
Options: add 2 teaspoons cinnamon if it goes well with assorted pudding flavors. Other Pudding flavors are coconut, chocolate, butterscotch, or lemon. [ add 2 teaspoons lemon juice w/lemon pudding]. you may also add nuts, raisins or currents and other diced fruit if desired. 2 Bundt pans may also be used instead.
