Firstly let us clear something, it is important so listen. He advertised NESCAFE I don't care what it was called in the colonies, in England the brand name is nescafe gold blend so get practising that name now, ness-cath-ay, ness-cath-ay..(tasters choice indeed! what sort of a crap name is that?) And if you're too young to remember the coffee adverts what are you doing playing a drinking game, hhmmnn?
Ahem.. How to play
For this game you will need
A) Some friends
B) An episode of 'Buffy the vampire slayer' either on tv or video
C) A quantity of alcoholic beverage. (although yes, if you're a mormon or you have work the next day or you're just a big old weakling you can use soft drinks. But it'll bring your points down).
The rules of the game
Everytime Giles....
A) Sits with a mug in his hand
B) Stands with a mug in his hand
C) Walks with a mug in his hand
D) Stands in a doorway
E) Stands or sits next to a breakfast counter type thing in someones kitchen
Anytime that he does any one of these things, you shout 'NESCAFE!' whilst pointing at the screen and down your drink.
The scoring system
Firstly, never try and keep score whilst you're actually playing the game. Work as a team and count up the empties the next day.( unless you've got a drinker of soft drinks with you, then make them keep score damnit!)
Lager, Bitter, Stout or Cider. 3 points a can or bottle.
Spirits, 5 points a shot, 50 points a bottle.
Soft drinks (not including water) 1 point a glass, can or bottle. 2 points if it's nescafe.
If the number of people in the group equals more than 6 then the points are halved.
The league - Are you the gold blend couple or just a 6 course banquet of nothing with a scoop of sod all?
Play the game and then email us with a team name, your points and tell us which episode you watched (no episode titles please, we won't know which one it is. Just say 'the one where there's 2 willows' or 'the one where xander gets off with faith' that sort of thing) and we'll put you here in our league table. The top and bottom two scores will also go into our newsletter where they'll be seen by oh, like probably at least three people.
HAPPY DRINKING!
