INFORMATION: Li Shaoran is a tranfer student from Hong Kong
that joins Sakura's and Tomoyo's class. He is a descendent of Clow
Reed, and has magical abilities. He went to Japan to capture the Clow
Cards for himself. Eventually he befriends Sakura, and he helps her in
capturing the cards. His name means small wolf, and his magic is in the brown
cards he uses, like thunder, wind, and seal. His mother wants him to
become Clow master to bring honor to their family.

(Ok all together now...WE LOVE YOU SYAORAN, OH YES WE DO!)

He came to Tomoeda to capture the Clow
Cards, and at first, is a rival of Sakura's. He uses his Lasin board to
locate the Clow cards, but only Sakura with her Sealing Wand can actually
capture the cards. He had some of the cards, but lost it when Sakura was
proclaimed its owner. In order get a card for himself, Li needs to be
the one to reveal the Clow Card's true form, let Sakura seal it, and
then the Card will come to him. At heart, Li is involved in the Cardcaptor's
quest for the same altruistic reason as Sakura, to save the world from
the chaos of the Clow Cards. He initially lives alone with Wei, but is
eventually joined by Meilin.


(I've said it before...but what other word more accurately describes
Li but Awwwww....)

In the beginning of the show Li is a little bit grumpy,
but as the show moves on and he becomes friends with Tomoyo and Sakura
he starts to show a very caring and tender side. Throughout the show Li
blushes a lot, usually when talking with Yukito (whom he has a crush on in
the beginning) and then eventually when he is talking to Sakura. If nothing
else, Li is strong willed and determined to do his best and to collect
the cards. He is very intelligent and has a lot of knowledge about card
capturing. He is also a brave guy that will do anything to catch the cards.
Towards the end of the series he is quite different and very grown up.
