Jardines del Rey dubbed the "Cuban keys"
the tiny islands of Jardines del Rey
strung off Cuba's Atlantic Coast are off Cuba's northern coral reef
mangroves and everglades, flamingoes and roseate spoonbills,
sun-bleached sand and turquoise waters ( The King's Gardens )
are immortalized in Ernest Hemingway's novels :
"Islands in the Stream" and "The Old Man and the Sea".
