This corner is a reference to a description I once used in an attempt to explain where these poems come from. "It's as if I'm hit upside the head with a brick!" The ideas seem to come from nowhere and everywhere at the same time. I am merely a medium and the words pass through me, it seems. Usually they come to me in a brief flash so fast I have great difficulty keeping up. Very much like the scene in Amadeus when Mozart is on his death bed dictating to Salieri; this impatient demonic voice pushing me but my hand is incapable of writing as fast as the information is thrown at me. The poems I have written are very similar in origin, only worse. It's as if I'm watching a two hour feature film for the first time - at an incredibly accelerated speed. I'm fortunate if I'm able to get an outline on paper before I loose the entire vision. Frustrating and exhilarating at the same time! So, if you're still interested, click on a title below and read on. There's a place for your comments at the end. Don't be shy, I like the feedback. I already think I suck, so it's not as if you could hurt the one feeler I have left with confirmatory remarks.

Are you puzzled, are your logical thoughts amiss?
Allow me to introduce myself:
I am what you know as sorrow!
And I pride myself in being,
A part of your everyday bliss.
Still puzzled?
In my absence happiness is just a myth,
For I create the very illusion of happiness!
Happiness is just a relative state of being,
Me, do you ever miss?
When I am around,
You feel dejected and down,
But when I depart
Plenty of happiness abounds.
I am laughing!
Happiness is nothing without me.
Just as happiness is a pleasure enjoyed,
I know you must also inadvertantly cherish me.
[In a Happy State of Sorrow] [Midnight Rose] [Une Belle Amour] [King Of Fools]
Blooming at Night's End.
Just before the Sun's arrival
Extending shadowy Petals.
A Shaft of Light!
Radiance of the Mourning
Weeping at life's end.
A nocturnal Rose
never to Bloom
Closing its wings.
Greeting the Moon
With Sad farewells
Almost never Existing.

[In a Happy State of Sorrow] [Midnight Rose] [Une Belle Amour] [King Of Fools]
Question thineself.
Can you not Hear?
Your heart Flutters.
A touch of silk
A kiss of Satin
Awaken Thineself.
The sun shines Through,
Sparkling through rain drops
A Golden Shaft of Radiance anew.

[In a Happy State of Sorrow] [Midnight Rose] [Une Belle Amour] [King Of Fools]
Mocker, Am I
Mocking him,
Mocking her.
People laugh...
Joker, Am I
Tricking him,
Tricking her.
People laugh...
Jester, Am I
Throwing this,
Juggling that.
People laugh...
Fool, Am I
Believing him,
Trusting her,
People laugh...at me?
