He moved to Stars Hollow in the 2nd Season to live with Luke because his mom couldn't handle him. He works in Lukes diner and has had his eye on Rory ever since he arrived (and he's finally got her). In the beginning, Jess hated the small town life and his entertainment was stirring up trouble in town.
