| Welcome to GoThIcA, a new site for dark erotic fiction. This site was started to give those who write erotic fiction and poetry an opportunity to showcase their original work and meet others with like interests. People often ask what I mean by "gothic" fiction, and I'm having a hard time coming up with a way to define it. It certainly could be stories about vampires and the like. It could just as easily be about characters who live the so-called gothic lifestyle. People have a hard enough time definining the term "gothic," and I'm finding it much more difficult to define anything related to it, like fiction, as the case may be. That said, I hope anyone with any original work that they think may be gothic will submit it. It is a very loose term and I am certainly open to suggestions. I will accept stories and poetry containing homosexual content, though do understand that it is not the main focus of the site. I am open-minded and will read anything that comes my way. What I will not accept are pieces that contain rape or extreme violence. I know this is supposed to explore the darker side of erotica, but I personally don't enjoy reading about the most extremist sexual inclinations and since this is my site, I refuse to promote it. If you have something that you think may be borderline, submit it anyway. The worst that can happen is I won't put it on the site.
