| Here is another inspiration from the snowflake I was making for the holidays. I was also inspired by the beaded jewelry of Nina Libin, if you haven't seen her page yet I highly recommend a visit. |
| R = Ring Ch = Chain rw = Reverse "-" = picot "+" = join ":" = 1 bead up, 1 bead down "*" = 3 beads up 1 bead down "......." = 7 beads on picot Load 28 beads on the thread. These earrings were needle tatted with size 20 Flora thread. R 5 - 5 rw (make picot large enough for 4 joins) Ch 5 * 5 rw (three beads up and one bead down) R 5 + 5 rw Ch 5 * 5 rw R 5 + 5 rw Ch 5 * 5 rw R 5 + 5 rw Ch 5 * 5 rw R 5 + 5 rw Ch 3 : 1 : 3 rw R 2 : 2 ....... 2 : 2 rw Ch 3 : 1 : 3 Join to base of first ring and chain, cut and tie. Add your favorite earring finding. |
