Oids Levels
When I wasn't knocking out truly terrible games with STOS, I did like
to play the occasional game. Possibly my favourite ST game (and still
one of my favourite games of all-time), Oids was truly a masterpiece!
And if that wasn't good enough, it came with a fully-fledged level
editor as a bonus. My chums and I would often toil away into the wee
hours producing ever-more evil levels with which to infuriate each
other. Going through my ST disks a few years back I discovered some of
them... and here they are! For the first time on the internet!
Beware! Some of these levels are EVIL! Shoot a lot, even if there are
no baddies - there are sometimes invisible force-fields right where you
wouldn't expect 'em. A lot of the levels are named after heavy metal
bands and songs, mainly because we were going through 'that phase' of
adolescence at the time. Don't let that put you off too much - there
are a few really good levels in here. Have fun!
Be warned! You will need a copy of Oids with which to play these
levels. The disk image here is 'levels only' - there's no copy of Oids
included.
