In Loving Memory of
Robyn Lynn Bowers
February 7, 1983 - December 5, 2003

I give you this one thought to keep - -
I am with you still - I do not sleep,
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain,
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night,
Do not thinkof me as gone -
I am with you still - in each new dawn.

Robyn's story --

She had a tough go of it at first. She was born with a cleft lip and a heart problem and we almost lost her, but the Dr.'s fixed it in time and then she soared. After several surgeries over many years her mouth and nose and teeth were finally perfect. She was 18 when she got done with all that and we always told her to use that "million dollar smile" a lot. And indeed she did. However she was only able to enjoy it for 2 yrs. But she was never without that "million dollar smile".

She went to the Univ. of WI Whitewater. Her major was Broadcast Journalism. She did Sports Broadcasting on the TV station there and also did some producing. She loved it. She was really looking forward to a career doing Sports on TV.

Robyn was named after Robin Yount of the Milwaukee Brewers. I was pregnant with her when they were in the World Series and he was our favorite. We took Robyn to a Brewer game when she was 4. We got to go down to the dugout and meet him cause he heard about her. She was so proud of that.

Robyn loved sports, especially softball. Her favorite color is purple, everything purple. She loved her car, it was small and she called it the "Bubble", everyone knew the Bubble.

She had a lot of friends. She loved going out with friends and having a lot of fun. She always wanted to go out with me, we would always have a blast. We really were best friends and talked everyday & night. Shopping was a big thing for her, always shopping, most of the time with me. I always called her Sweet Pea.

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning
that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide;
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the Chain will link again...

These are beautiful and loving gifts for Angel Robyn from my dear friend, Carol, mom to Angel Michael.

Robyn's funeral was huge. They literally came by the bus load from Whitewater. I think there were well over 500 people and that was in a blizzard.

I was told through a psychic that she was helping the Guardian Angels, and I am sure she is one. So I guess her things were - purple, softball, the Bubble, Shopping, Broadcasting and good friends.

Ascension

And if I go while you're still here,
Know that I live on, vibrating to a different measure.
Behind a thin veil, you cannot see through.
You will not see me, so you must have faith.
I wait for the time, when we can soar together again
both aware of each other.
Until then live your life to the fullest,
And when you need me...
Just whisper my name in your heart,
and I will be there.

Our Christmas Angels

Robyn is so beautiful that I just had to make this graphic for her birthday.
Love, Shirley, Mom to Angel Laurie.

Dear Robyn
You are so beautiful
Rest in peace with the Lord little Angel
Love
Ann, Laurasmom

Robyn's Mom
Your beautiful angel moved me so.
I was so inspired to make something very special for her.
I don't know when I've seen a smile more beautiful then hers.
Surely heaven is sweeter with her there. May the Lord bless you
and may you feel the peace that only He can give.
With Love
Ann, Laurasmom

To Lynn and ANGEL Robyn
A Beautiful Poem For A Beautiful ANGEL

CORE

Softness of the skin
Sweetness in the smell
Nectar of the fruit
Tender in the heart
Dancing in the eyes
Uplifting in the smile
Tickle of the touch
Joining in the love

Truth in the speech
Love in the laughter
Primal in the scream
Soft in the whisper
Quick in the mind
Fair in the sentence
Brave in the confrontation
Joining in the love

Graceful in the sleep
Careful in the search
Deep in the sorrow
Strength in the sickness
Giving of thy self
Rich in the health
Kind in the giving
Joining in the love
