Update on crimes
3rd July 2003

Welcome to the LPAC homepage. This is a website that has been created purely as a reaction to the level of crime and antisocial behaviour that has been endured by our local community. This site is currently under construction, and will be continually built upon as more information becomes available regarding what, if anything, is being done to improve the situation for the residents of South Maroubra, and what crimes they must endure in the meantime.

LPAC has come into existence because the residents of South Maroubra are no longer willing to tolerate the crime levels that plague their home area. People are frightened to walk the streets or to speak out in any public forum against a minority of aggressive and malicious people who are causing the trouble. These troublemakers choose to destroy the safety of the Maroubra community with their acts of aggression, violence, vilification, property damage and criminality. They also attract further criminal elements to the area.

The time has come to end the terrorisation of this community.

Maroubra is one suburb of Sydney with a high density region of Housing Commission residents. LPAC considers that whilst the vast majority of those people are honest and deserving of their residency, a minority of lawless youths, and their frequently supportive parents, completely abuse the privilege of living in the Premier's own beachside eastern suburb at tax-payer's expense. The authorities that should be controlling this situation have woefully neglected the area, and should be called to account for the lack of regard shown to the residents of South Maroubra.

As it currently stands, this issue is a prime case of the severe abandonment of the tax paying and voting community by state government authorities.

THREE HARD QUESTIONS:

NSW Dept. of Housing, What are you doing about these problems?

NSW Premier's office, what are you doing about these problems? Bob Carr, this is your home suburb!

N.S.W. Police service, what are you doing about this?

The website intends to carry an array of opinions from residents that may not always perfectly coincide.
Nevertheless, it is believed that the general thrust of their arguments will remain the same and be quite obvious to the reader.

This website is under construction!
