Game 1

Kingston Cowboys 8 Sydenham Amey's Drilling 2 in Inverary
Sydenham loaded the bases in the first inning with a hit from shortstop Chris Bowes and a couple of walks however the Cowboys were able to get out of the inning unscathed when pitcher Jon Swaine struck out the final out of the inning.  In the bottom of the inning the Cowboys struck for three runs.  Centre fielder Jeff Hannah singled to right field and moved to third when the ball was misplayed.  Right fielder Tim Murphy reached base on a passed ball on a strikeout and Swaine reached on a walk.  Catcher Craig Pearce then delivered a two RBI single to left fielder and one out later second baseman Adam Garrison hit into a fielder's choice that scored the third run of the inning.  In the second inning the Cowboys struck for four more runs to make the score 7-0.  Third baseman Jamie Purdon reached base on an error and moved to second on a passed ball.  Hannah then drove in a run with a single.  Swaine drew another walk and Pearce followed with a RBI single to left.  Shortstop Doug Kane walked to load the bases for Garrison, who delivered a two run single.  In the third, Purdon led off the inning with a walk and came around to score on a sacrifice fly by Pearce.  Sydenham scored solo runs in the sixth and seventh innings to make the final score 8-2.  Third baseman Blake Orr scored on a sacrifice fly by left fielder Chris Carroll in the sixth inning and Chris Bowes scored on a fielder's choice in the seventh inning.

In a well played and a strongly pitched game, Sydenham prevailed on a two run homerun in the bottom of the sixth inning by left fielder Ryan Bowes that scored pitcher Blake Orr, who had reached base on a walk.  Both Orr and Cowboys pitcher Jon Swaine allowed 4 hits and only 6 baserunners during the game.  The Cowboys tried to comeback in the top of the seventh but ended leaving a lead off single by Ryan Sharpe on third base.

Game 3

Sydenham Amey's Driling 4 Kingston Cowboys 1 in 9 innings at Inverary
Sydenham opened the scoring in the top of the first inning on an RBI single to centre by right fielder Ryan Bowes that scored Chris Bowes, who had led off the game with a single to centre.  The Cowboys tied the game in the third inning.  Left fielder David Purdon led off the inning with a single and moved to second on a ground out.  Purdon advanced to third on a passed ball and scored when the ball went off the third baseman's glove into left field.  Sydenham had runners in scoring position in the second, fourth, sixth and eighth innings before taking the lead in the top of the ninth.  Second baseman Greg Orr led off the ninth with a home run to left field.  One out later Chris Carroll reached base on an error and scored on an RBI double off the left field fence by Joe Bowes.  Bowes scored on an RBI single by Chris Bowes to make it 4-1.

Game 4

Sydenham opened the scoring in the bottom of the second inning when second baseman Greg Orr hit a home run to left field.  In the bottom of the third inning, Sydenham scored again on an RBI single by centre fielder Hughie Vankoughnett that scored catcher Terry Redden who had reached on an error and moved to second on a sacrifice by shortstop Chris Bowes.  The Cowboys, who had runners on base in each of the first three innings, finally reached the scoreboard in the fourth.  First baseman Kevin Buchan singled up the middle to open the inning and pinch runner David Purdon replaced him.  Second baseman Adam Garrision then drew a walk.  Left fielder Josh Vanderzande was then hit for a pitch for the second time in the game to load the bases.  Shortstop Jamie Purdon then drew a walk to score the first run of the inning.  After an out, centre fielder Jeff Hannah tripled to left centre field to clear the bases and give the Cowboys a 4-2 lead.  In the bottom of the inning Orr led off with a single to centre and was replaced by pinch runner Matt Rennie.  After moving to second on a ground out, Rennie was thrown out at the plate by Hannah on a single to centre by left fielder Mike Burnette to end the inning.  In the fifth inning, catcher Doug Kane drew a walk to led off the inning and moved to second on a sacrifice by Buchan.  Vanderzande then hit a homerun to centre field to make the score 6-2.  In the sixth inning the Cowboys struck for four more runs.  Hannah reached on a one out error and scored on an RBI double to right centre field by right fielder Tim Murphy.  Pitcher Jon Swaine was then hit by a pitch to put runners at first and second.  Kane followed with a two run double to right centre to chase starting pitcher Blake Orr from the game.  Garrison then doubled to right field to score Kane with the fourth run of the inning.  In the seventh inning the Cowboys added three more runs.  After Purdon and third baseman Ryan Sharpe reached base on errors and Hannah singled to load the bases, Murphy followed with an RBI single.  Swaine then hit an RBI single and Kane followed with an RBI single to complete the scoring.

Sydenham jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first inning when second baseman Ryan Bowes hit a two out triple to right centre field.  Bowes was able to score on a throwing error on the play.  The Cowboys tied the score in the second inning.  First baseman Kevin Buchan led off the inning with a single and right fielder Adam Garrison followed with a walk.  Garrison was then caught in a run down between first and second that allowed Buchan to score from second base to tie the game.  The score remained tied until the bottom of the sixth inning even though both teams had scoring opportunities.  Catcher Doug Kane led off the inning with a single for the Cowboys and moved to second on a sac bunt by Buchan.  Garrison then followed with an RBI single to right field to give the Cowboys a 2-1 lead.  Sydenham responded in the seventh inning with 3 runs.  Catcher Terry Redden reached base on an one out infield single and moved to third base on the pinch hit single by Mike Halligan up the middle.  The Cowboys then made a pitching change, bringing in Jon Swaine.  Swaine retired the first batter he faced and then centre fielder Hughie Vankoughnett hit a homerun to left centre field to give Sydenham a 4-2 lead.  The Cowboys attempted a comeback in the bottom of the inning with consecutive singles by Jon Swaine, Ryan Sharpe and Doug Kane to lead off the inning to score one run, but Sydenham retired the next three batters.

The Cowboys jumped out to an 1-0 as the game's lead off batter, centre fielder Jeff Hannah, hit a homerun to right field.  Sydenham promptly tied the score in the bottom of the first when third baseman Chris Carroll drew a bases loaded walk.  Shortstop Chris Bowes had led off the inning and first baseman Blake Orr and designated player Greg Orr both walked to fill the bases.  The Cowboys scored again in the top of the second inning.  Catcher Doug Kane led off the inning with a double down the third baseline a later scored in the inning on a passed ball.  In the third inning third baseman Ryan Sharpe hit a sacrifice fly to left field to score pitcher Jon Swaine, who had reached base on an error and moved two bases on passed balls.  The Cowboys extended the lead to 4-1 in the sixth inning off of relief pitcher Scott Nichol with an RBI single by second baseman Adam Garrison.  Kane led off the inning with a walk and was moved into scoring position on a sacrifice bunt by first baseman Kevin Buchan.  Chris Bowes led off the bottom of the seventh with a homerun to right centre field but Swaine was able to retire the next three batters to end the game.

Game 7

Sydenham opened the scoring in the top of the fourth inning when pitcher Blake Orr hit a homerun to right centre field.  The Cowboys answered in the bottom of the inning when relief pitcher Ryan Sharpe hit a triple to left field and then scored one out later on a sacrifice fly to right field by first baseman Kevin Buchan.  Sydenham took the lead again in the fifth inning scoring two runs.  First baseman Paul Hannah hit a single to centre field with one out to start the rally.  Matt Rennie entered the game as a pinch runner and moved to second on a single by shortstop Chris Bowes.  Catcher Terry Redden followed with a single to left field to score Rennie on a close play at the plate.  Orr followed with a single to cash in Redden to give Sydenham a 3-1 lead.  In the bottom of the sixth inning Sharpe hit a double to left centre field to start the inning.  One out later Kevin Buchan was hit by a pitch to put runners on first and second.  Second baseman Adam Garrison then singled up the middle to score Sharpe and to move Geoff Crawford, who had come on to run for Buchan, to third base.  Josh Vanderzande then follwed with a single to right field to tie the score at 3-3.  Scott Nichol came on to relieve Blake Orr for Sydenham and he retired the next two batters to end the inning.  In the eight inning, Blake Orr lead off with a single to right field and moved to second on a ground out.  After an intentional walk to second baseman Greg Orr, third baseman Chris Carroll hit a single between shortstop and third to drive in Orr.  Nichol retired three straight batters in the bottom of the eight to end the game.
