Kingston Cowboys 4 Sunbury 2
The Kingston Cowboys struck for three runs in the top of the first inning, which proved to be enough for the victory as pitchers Adam Garrison and Jon Swaine kept the Sunbury offense in check.  Centre fielder Jeff Hannah led off the game with  a walk off of starting pitcher Dave Hanna.  Hannah moved to second on a stolen base and then to third on a fly ball.  Second baseman Jon Swaine followed with a hard hit single down the third baseline to score the first run of the game.  Shortstop Doug Kane followed one out later with a homerun to right centre field.  Sunbury answered in the bottom of the inning when lead off hitter, centre fielder Paul Tolles, doubled and moved to third on a passed ball.  Catcher Rueben Struthers then drove in Tolles with a ground out to second.  In the bottom of the third inning Sunbury added another run.  First baseman Dan Irwin led off the inning with a bloop double to centre and after moving to third on a passed ball, scored on a sacrifice fly to centre by Struthers.  Relief pitcher Jon Swaine came on in the top of the fourth inning for the Cowboys and allowed only one base runner, via a walk, over his four innings pitched.  Kane added an insurance run in the top of the sixth inning off of relief pitcher Bob Finucan when he hit his second homerun of the game, this one off of the top of the left centre field lights.

Kingston Cowboys 15 Napanee Minor Midgets 3
The Kingston Cowboys used some timely hitting and 10 walks by Napanee pitchers en route to a mercy rule shortened 5 inning victory.  Third baseman Jamie Purdon started the scoring in the bottom of the second inning by hitting a bloop double to shallow right field that scored shortstop Doug Kane and left fielder Brandon Burtch, who were both on via walks.  Napanee had runners in scoring position each of the first three innings however they were unable to push a run across the plate.  In the home half of the third inning the Cowboys scored five runs.  After a lead off walk and a single by centre fielder Jeff Hannah, right fielder Tim Murphy walked to load the bases.  After a fielder's choice caused the first out at the plate, catcher Craig Pearce drove in a run with a walk.  One out later starting pitcher Ryan Sharpe hit a grand slam homerun to left centre field.  Napanee threatened in the top of the fourth inning, loading the bases with one out, however again the Cowboys escaped the inning without giving up a run.  In the bottom of the fourth inning the Cowboys scored eight times against three Napanee pitchers.  First baseman Josh Vanderzanded tripled to lead off the inning and one out later scored on a double by pinch hitter Geoff Crawford.  After two walks loaded the bases, Kane drove in two runs with a single to left field.  After another walk loaded the bases and a second out of the inning, Purdon hit an RBI single to right field.  Vanderzande then hit a deep grandslam homerun to left centrefield in his second at bat of the inning to round out the scoring for the Cowboys.  Napanee rallied for three runs in the fifth inning.  Chris Brown hit a one out double and scored on an RBI single by Ryan Wagar.  Scott Mills followed with a single and both runners scored on a two RBI triple to left field by Lucas McDonald.
