East Side Mario's Vs Sydenham
In Sydenham, East Side Mario's opened the scoring in the first inning when shortstop Ken Spicer doubled with one out and later scored when starting pitcher Kurt Clark doubled.  Sydenham responded in the bottom of the inning  scoring three times with the help of two errors.  After recording the first out of the inning, the next two batters, third baseman Trevor Corkey and first baseman Paul Hannah, both reached on errors.  Centre fielder Jason Moodie then hit a three run homerun to give Sydenham a 3-1 lead.  East Side's responded in the second inning to take 5-1 lead.  Spicer hit his second double of the game, scoring second baseman Mike Rathwell, who had reached base on a walk.  Catcher Derek Shaver hit a three run homerun, scoring both Spicer and centre fielder Brad Cashman, who had walked.  Sydenham tied the game in the home half of the inning, scoring on RBI singles by catcher Doug Pixley and pitcher Hughie Vankoughnett.  East Side Mario's took the lead in the fourth inning when Spicer hit his third double of the game, scoring Cashman who had walked.  Spicer later scored on a passed ball, giving East Side's a 7-5 lead.  East Side Mario's put the game out of reach in the fifth inning, adding four more runs.  Spicer drove in two more runs with a triple and scored on a fielding error on the next batter.  Relief pitcher Bob Finucan hit an RBI double that scored Shaver to end the scoring for that inning.  East Side's added a solo run in each of the sixth and seventh innings to end the scoring.  Cashman hit an RBI double in the sixth and Clark hit a lead off homerun in the seventh.

Battersea Vs Brett Contracting Cowboys
Battersea opened the scoring in the top of the second inning.  Left fielder Aaron Boulton reached base with a one out walk and then scored on an RBI double to right centre field by right fielder Ryan Dixon.  The Cowboys responded in the home half of the inning, scoring five times.  Catcher Pat Severin led off the inning with a double and moved to third one out later on a single by right fielder Tim Murphy.  After Murphy stole second base and Battersea recorded the second out of the inning, both runners scored on a single down the third baseline by third baseman Brandon Burtch.  Second baseman Terry Redden followed with a walk and both Burtch and Redden scored on a double by centre fielder Jeff Hannah.  Left fielder Brian Woodcock followed with a single to score Hannah.  In the fifth inning, shortstop Doug Kane homered to left centre field to give the Cowboys a 6-1 lead.  Battersea rallied in the bottom of the seventh, scoring four times, but they were unable to tie the game.  With two outs, catcher Gord Boulton walked and moved to second when second baseman Justin Sleeth was hit by a pitch.  Boulton scored on a single to right field by first baseman Mike Paul.  Pitcher Kirk Bertrim then homered to right field scoring both Sleeth and Paul.
Mike Paul had three hits for Battersea.
