Sydenham Vs Central Frontenac Midgets
Central Frontenac opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning on an RBI single by first baseman Josh Vanderzande that scored shortstop Chris Bowes, who had reached on an error.  Vanderzande later scored when he stole home as part of a double steal with third baseman Jamie Purdon, who had walked.  Sydenham responded in the third inning on a two RBI single by third baseman Paul Hannah.  First baseman Nick Hogan singled to begin the inning.  Centre fielder Mike Burnett and right fielder Matt Lynch both drew walks to load the bases with no one out.  Hannah then followed with a single to left field.  Sydenham took the lead in the sixth inning when second baseman Greg Murphy hit an inside the park home run to left centre field.  Central tied the game in the bottom of the seventh inning when Vanderzande hit a triple to lead off the inning and the scored on a single by Purdon.  Purdon was left stranded on third base to end the game.

Sunbury Leonard Fuels Vs Battersea
In a game played in Battersea on a cool night, Sunbury Leonard Fuels opened the scoring early as lead off hitter Paul Tolles hit a home run.  Battersea rallied for four runs in the bottom of the second on three hits and an error.  Left fielder Kirk Bertrim started the rally, reaching base on a walk. Third baseman Greg Dixon reached base on an error when he tried to sacrifice Bertrim over.  Justin Sleeth then loaded the bases with a single.  Bertrim and Dixon each scored on a single by right fielder Mike Tye.  Winning pitcher Kirk Sudds then helped his own cause with an RBI single.  Catcher Gord Boulton rounded out the scoring with a sacrifice fly to left field.  Tolles led off the third inning with his second home run of the game to cut the Battersea led to 4-2.  Sunbury tied the score in the top of the fourth inning when first baseman Dan Irwin hit a two RBI single that score third baseman Dave Tolles and shortstop Corey Fowler.  Boulton gave Battersea  the lead again in the bottom of the fourth inning when he hit a game winning home run.
