Brett Contracting Cowboys Vs East Side Mario's
East Side Mario's used one big offensive inning on Wednesday night to defeat the Brett Contracting Cowboys.  After threatening in the first inning with runners at second and third with nobody out and failing to score a run, East Side Mario's took advantage of the same situation in the third.  Left fielder Scott McDonald led off the inning with a single up the middle and advanced to second when centre fielder Brad Cashman's bunt went for a single.  Both runners advanced on a passed ball and then scored when third baseman Derek Shaver delivered a two run double that one hopped the left field fence.  After catcher Adam Kyle and first baseman Kurt Clark were walked to load the bases, pitcher Bob Finucan helped his own cause when he hit a two out single up the middle that scored two runs.  The Cowboys only had three baserunners against Finucan, two on singles by pitcher Bryan Brooks and first baseman Pat Severin.
