Enterprise 401 Auto Mall Vs Sydenham
Enterprise took early command of the game, scoring seven times in the top of the first inning, and never looked back.  Pitcher Lyle Brown doubled home the first two runs of the game.  Shortstop Doug Weese and first baseman Kevin Brown also had RBI's in the inning.  Sydenaham scored single runs in the second inning and the fourth inning  to cut the gap to 7-2 before catcher Al Fenwick hit a three run homerun for Enterprise.  Sydenham added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to close the scoring.

Brett Contracting Cowboys Vs Frontenac Cyclones Men
In a rematch of the combatants of last season's finals, the Brett Contracting Cowboys rallied to defeat the Frontenac Cyclones Men 8-4.  Frontenac jumped out to an early lead when second baseman Derek Shaver hit a two run homerun in the first inning that scored centre fielder Brad Cashman, who had been hit by a pitch.  Cowboys catcher Craig Pearce cut the lead in half in the top of the second inning with a solo homerun to right centre field.  In the third innning the Cowboys tied the score on another solo homerun, this time by centre fielder Jeff Hannah off of starter Bob Finucan.  The score remained tied until the sixth inning.  Kurt Clark came in to relieve Finucan and was greeted with three consecutive hits.  Right fielder Tim Murphy, with his second hit of the game, singled to start the rally.  Shortstop Doug Kane followed with a two run homerun to left centre field to give the Cowboys their first lead of the game.  Second baseman Jon Swaine followed with a single and then was forced  at second base on a ground ball by Pearce.  After a single by first baseman Kevin Buchan, Pearce scored on a single by designated player Adam Lake.  Frontenac responding in the bottom of the inning with one run.  Cashman led of the inning with a double to left field and scored one out later on a single by Shaver.  In the top of the seventh inning the Cowboys rallied for three more runs.  With two out, Kane reached base on a walk and scored on a line drive double to centre field by Swaine.  After Pearce reached base on a walk, Buchan hit a ground ball to second that was misplayed that allowed both Swaine and Pearce to score.  Frontenac scored in the bottom of the seventh and left the tying run at the plate as Cowboy pitcher Scott Nichol was able to strikeout the final batter of the game with the bases loaded.
