Kingston Cowboys Vs Enterprise 401 Auto Mall

The Cowboys opened the scoring in the top of the first inning on a two out RBI single by pitcher Jon Swaine that scored third baseman Darryl Barker, who had doubled to the right field gap.  Enterprise tied the score in the bottom of the inning when with runners at first and third they executed a double steal that allowed centre fielder Andy Brown to score.  Brown had led off the inning with a single to right field and moved to third one out later on a hit and run single by pitcher Kevin Brown.  From that point the pitchers took over with Swaine only allowing three Enterprise baserunners over the next six innings and with Brown using the strikeout to get out of several jams.  The Cowboys took the lead in the top of the fifth inning when with one out centrefielder Jeff Hannah drew a one out walk.  After stealing second base, right fielder Tim Murphy walked, putting runners at first and second.  Swaine then delivered a two out single to left field that scored Hannah and moved Murphy to third.  On the next pitch Murphy scored on a passed ball to make the score 3-1.
