The playoff intensity showed early in this game played at Enterprise as both benches cleared in the bottom of the third inning.  No ejections resulted and calm was restored.  The visiting Cowboys opened the scoring in the top of the fifth inning.  Pitcher Mike Halligan lead off with a single and was sacrificed to second base by second baseman Kevin Gauvreau, who reached on an error.  Halligan was then lifted for pinch runner Pat Kinlin.  Centre fielder Jeff Hannah then sacrificed both runners up to third and second respectively.  Left fielder Terry Whalen then drove a fly ball to centre field to score Kinlin and give the Cowboys a 1-0 lead.  The Cowboys struck for three more runs in the sixth inning to take a 4-0 lead by stringing together four consecutive hits.  Catcher Craig Pearce lead off the inning with a single and moved to third on a single by first baseman Kevin Buchan.  Right fielder Tim Murphy then hit a double to centre field that scored Pearce.  Halligan was the next batter and he delivered a two run double to left centre field.  Joe Lewis then came on to relieve starter Todd Martin and shut the Cowboys down.  In the bottom half of the inning Enterprise tallied three runs.  Shortstop Ian Birrell reached first with one out after being hit by a pitch.  Left fielder Lester Brown, who made several outstanding plays in the field, then hit a high chopper to shortstop and reached base when the first baseman could not handle the through.  Third baseman Doug Weese then hit a three run home run to left centre field to cut the Cowboy lead to 4-3.  Enterprise rallied again the seventh when right fielder Al Birrell lead off with a double.  Halligan was able to get the next two batters, but Ian Birrell hit a ground ball to third base that took a strange hop and bounced off the third baseman over the fence, scoring the tying run.  After the Cowboys could not manage a run in the eigth inning, Enterprise loaded the bases with one out.  Weese and second baseman Albert Jelley singled and the Cowboys intentionally walked first baseman Larry McNeill to load the bases.  With both  the infield and outfield playing in, Al Birrell hit a ball that went over the head of the right fielder to score the winning run.

Enterprise opened the scoring in the top of the second inning when second baseman Albert Jelley led off with a single and moved to second on a single by first baseman Larry McNeill.  One out later, a ball was hit to shortstop where the runner appeared to make contact with the shortstop.  However, the umpires after having a conference decided that no contact was made, thus loading the bases with one out.  Left fielder Lester Brown then delivered a two out single to left field, scoring two unearned runs and giving Enterprise a 2-0 lead.  After retiring seven of the first nine batters he faced by strike out, Enterprise starter Kevin Brown gave up four hits in the fourth inning, allowing the Cowboys to take a 3-2 lead.  Shortstop Doug Kane led off the inning with a walk and moved to second on a bunt single by left fielder Terry Whalen.  Kane, however, was caught leading off second base for the first out.  Catcher Craig Pearce then singled to right field, moving Whalen to third.  With two outs centre fielder Tim Murphy hit an RBI single to right field.  Right fielder Adam Lake then followed with an RBI single up the middle that drove in Pearce.  Murphy, in heading to third, drew a throw from the centre fielder that was errant, allowing Murphy to score the go ahead run.  Both pitchers took over the game until Enterprise tied the game on a two out RBI single by Lester Brown in the top of the seventh inning that scored centre fielder Shawn Rines, who had singled.  The Cowboy's pitcher Scott Nichol pitched out of several jams in the extra innings, including a bases loaded situation in the tenth inning where second baseman Kevin Gauvreau made a spectacular diving play to stop a grounder and throw the runner out.  In the eleventh inning, Rines lead off with a single and was then sacrificed to second.  Lester Brown was then intentionally walked to set up a force.  Shortstop Ian Birrell then hit a single to left field the scored Rines with the winning run.

Enterprise once again came from behind in the late innings to beat the Kingston Cowboys and to swept the series 3-0.  Kingston opened the scoring in the top of the second inning when centre fielder Tim Murphy hit a solo home run to lead off the inning off of Enterprise starter Joe Lewis.  The Cowboys extended their lead to 4-0 in the fourth inning.  Murphy had a one out single, was sacrificed to second and then scored on an RBI double by right fielder Pat Kinlin.  Cowboys starter Mike Halligan was the next batter and he lined a two run home run over the left field fence to finish the scoring for the Cowboys.  Enterprise began their comeback in the fifth inning, scoring two runs.  Right fielder Adam Jelley lead off the inning with a walk and was sacrificed to second base.  Relief pitcher Kevin Brown then hit an RBI double to score Enterprise's first run.  Enterprise added another run in the inning on an error by the Cowboy's first baseman to make it 4-2.  In the bottom of the sixth inning, first baseman Larry McNeill led off with a bloop single.  The Cowboys then brought in reliever Scott Nichol.  McNeill scored on a bloop single by Jelley to make the score 4-3 going into the seventh.  In the seventh, left fielder Lester Brown led the inning off with a single.  After retiring the next batter via a strikeout, second baseman Albert Jelley reach base on a rountine ground ball to second that hit something and went ten feet over the second baseman's head, putting runners at first and second.  After a passed ball advanced the runners, third baseman Doug Weese was intentionally walked to set up a force play.  With the infield in, McNeill hit a slow roller to second and Lester Brown was able to beat the throw to first, tying the score at 4-4.  The next batter was Al Birrell.  Birrell hit a single through the middle to end the game.
