British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw is to publish an Iraqi torture dossier (as a cherry on top of the WMD dossier cake, presumably).

The UN weapons team is checking an Iraqi airstrip (they've failed to find anything in Iraq so far).

US and British warplanes attacked premises of the Southern Oil Company in Basra, according to the Iraqis. The US and UK deny knowledge of this, but say that they bombed an Iraqi defence facility in response to artillery fire. (BBC Ceefax, p.113; ITV Teletext, p.309)

Amnesty International has criticised the British government for bringing out a detailed Iraq torture dossier as a further pretext for war. They paid comparatively little heed to such Iraqi violations when it was not in their political interest to do so, Amnesty said.

'Signs that Iraq is serious about averting a war are "not encouraging", President Bush has warned. [I.e, The signs are encouraging.]

'He noted that Saddam Hussein's regime had recently fired on US and British planes patrolling Iraqi no-fly zones. [Who knows who fired on whom, or if there was any fire at all.]

'He also said the regime had responded to UN disarmament demands with "protests and falsehoods".

'The arms declaration Iraq must make by Sunday must be "credible and complete", he said in a Pentagon [!] speech.'

The British government has been criticised for the tawdry-propagandistic style of a video showing Iraqi regime brutality (complete with background music).

'Public pressure may force the Government to vaccinate the entire population against smallpox, a report has acknowledged.

'But a Department of Health report suggested the policy could change if the public demanded protection.

'But it added a "good public relations strategy" should avoid the need for mass vaccinations to take place.'

"What do we want? PT! And when do we want it? Now!", as they could have chanted in "1984". But there are no crowds, merely a public-relations figment being cooked up by a government tending towards totalitarianism.

'MAIL[ newspaper:] A Russian scientist may have sold a virulent strain of smallpox to Iraq, US intelligence sources has said[ sic].' (ITV Teletext, p.326)

The CIA is the agent of the virulent mega-pox that is menacing the world. (I.e., American cabalistic imperialism/totalitarianism).

And with so many countries and interest groups making explicit UN authorization for an Iraq-attack a condition for their support of one — e.g. Turkey will make its airbases available on this condition — it looks like the cabal will have "no choice" but to stage a biochem event (attack or "accident") and blame it on Iraq (and/or "al-Qaeda").

'Iraq's report on arms will not include any admission that Baghdad still maintains weapons of mass destruction, a senior Iraqi general has said.

'Hossein Mohammed Amin said the report on chemical, biological and nuclear programmes would include new activities conducted in the absence of inspectors.

Oppositionists in Venezuela are continuing their strike and demonstrations against President Chavez.

'The White House has "solid evidence" that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, and rejects Baghdad's denials, a spokesman said.

'Ari Fleischer declined to say what the evidence is, but said the US will provide details to weapons inspectors. ...'

'Judges have placed an historic cap on the costs the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament may face in its legal bid to stop the UK going to war with Iraq.

'CND is urging the High Court to rule that no hostile action can be taken without a fresh UN Security Council resolution clearly authorising force.

The US State Department [concerned at Turkey's uncertain support for its proposed conquest of Iraq] has coughed up a "terrorist threat" (it's only "unconfirmed information") to Gazientep Airport, in Turkey near the Syrian border and 115 miles east of the key US air base at Incirlik.

—just as Kurds are dutifully battling "al Qaeda-linked" fighters in northern Iraq.

'Ten Palestinians, including two UN employees[ aid workers], were killed when Israeli troops, tanks and helicopter gunships poured into a Gaza Strip refugee camp. ...' (ITV Teletext, p.305)

Last summer I speculated (on the Usenet) that the 79-year-old Henry Kissinger was the covert boss of the US petroleum faction. This on the grounds that (the Machiavellian-reputationed) Kissinger, who as Secretary of State in 1974 had blustered about seizing Saudi oil fields (during the OPEC price hikes), had recently made himself conspicuous by his "sole opposition", on the Pentagon's advisory Defense Policy Board, to a proposal that Saudi Arabia's oil fields be seized "as punishment" if it didn't stop "backing terrorism" (the "kernel of evil" proposal). Dr K, still in the thick of oil-conspiring, now against it, all by his lonesome? No, I don't think so somehow.
Dr Kissinger is now emerging from his (officially) behind-the-scenes advisory role in American politics, and has been nominated by President Bush as chairman of the upcoming "independent" investigation of 9/11 "intelligence failures". (One of the chairmen, it seems; former Senate majority leader George Mitchell is to be the other one.)
'Both men said they expected the panel to come up with not just facts about the past but also recommendations for the future. Kissinger added, as he had done last week when named, that after talking privately to the president he was under the "impression" that Bush would implement any recommendations but "of course he has to make his own judgement." [!!]
'Asked about a sharply critical newspaper editorial by the New York Times that criticized him for not being independent because of current commercial interests and his past use of government power and secrecy[ my emphasis], Kissinger responded that the newspaper "will apologize for this editorial when our report is submitted."'

The commission gives Kissinger, our suggested puppet-manipulator, an official channel (for the first time in more than two decades) through which to pull the strings. And if Kissinger himself was the mastermind behind 9/11, he couldn't be better placed to weave a cover up and/or set some of his intermediaries up, if he deems necessary, to take the fall for it.

'UN experts will keep sensitive material on nuclear, chemical and biological weapons in Iraq in a report secret, Hans Blix has revealed.

'The UN chief weapons inspector said he would brief the Security Council next week on the report.

'Iraq is preparing to hand over a weapons declaration to the UN ahead of the Sunday deadline.'

Thus, whatever Iraq says, they can sneakily imply that it "really" has weapons of mass destruction. After meeting Dick Cheney, Hans Blix has become as able a tool of cabalistic oil imperialism as Prime Minister Blair (or opposition leader Duncan Smith).

Iraq, for its part, is turning in a report of 13,000 pages which, it doubtless hopes, will tie analysts up for months before they have an excuse for invasion. Seriously?

'He added that as well as fighting physical, mental and sexual abuse, the charity should target the "systematic" cruelty of poverty and war.

'Al-Qaeda claimed it carried out last month's bomb attack on a Kenyan hotel, according to Arab satellite TV station al-Jazeera.

'Sulaiman Bu Ghaith, a spokesman for the terror group, confirmed al-Qaeda was behind the car bomb that killed 16.

If "bin Laden" recordings are regularly faked, there's no reason why they can't do the same for Sulaiman Bu Ghaith (whoever he is). And it doesn't appear here whether this wasn't a simple reading-out by a Jazeera newscaster of an alleged Qaeda statement.

'Israel has denied claims by Palestinians it plotted to set up phony al-Qaeda cells in the Gaza Strip in an attempt to sway Western opinion.' (ITV Teletext, 8 Dec. 02, p.318)

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, in this case by the Israeli side-kicks of the CIA/SOCOM (in particular, the 9/11 operation).

'Colombian rebels are reported to be plotting to kidnap former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani in Mexico City, where he is a crime adviser.' (Ibid.)

'Telegraph[ newspaper:] American armed forces will be ready for war in the Gulf by next month, much earlier than many experts had predicted, Pentagon sources said.' (ITV Teletext, p.326)

The UN has handed the Iraqi declaration to the US government to make photocopies for the other members of the Security Council ("because the US has the best photocopying facilities"!). The five permanent members will get "uncensored" copies (without blanking-out of any alleged WMD recipes), and the rest of the Council, censored copies.

This seems to illustrate the extent to which the UN is the flunkey of the US government. Of course, the US would be unwise to interfere with the content of the Declaration en route to the other members. Are they unwise enough?

'MIRROR[ newspaper:] UN officials were furious after America whisked the only copy of Iraq's weapons declaration to Washington.' (ITV Teletext, p.326)

The UN was to make photocopies of the declaration and distribute them to the members of the Security Council. Apparently the US put pressure on Colombia, the current chairman of the Council, to hand the documents over to them. A BBC commentator said that the other members will probably fall into line with this decision.

The US is now just a bandit seizing the world in the same way as it has this declaration. And the world is spontaneously assuming the role of subservients of their upcoming taskmaster. "O generation fit for slavery."

'Syria has protested against the decision to allow the five permanent members of the UN Security Council early [and "uncensored"] access to Iraq's arms declaration. ...' (BBC Ceefax, 10 Dec. 02, p.104)

Syria, who was the last Security Council member expected to back Resolution 1441 — and the Council backed it unanimously. If you volunteer for slavery, you shouldn't then complain that the chains are too tight.

'The Bush administration has begun searching Iraq's massive 12,000-page arms declaration for deceptions[!!!!!!!].

'The US earlier took the UN Security Council's only copy from New York to Washington to make duplicates[?] for Britain, France, Russia and China.

'The move was made amid concerns that bomb-making instructions could get into the hands of non-nuclear countries. [Or similarly-"esoteric" information on how to stab in the back].

'Iraq has criticised the UN's decision to hand over an early, unedited copy of its weapons declaration to the US.

'A ship carrying a hidden cargo of 12 Scud-type missiles from North Korea has been intercepted in the Arabian Sea[ US officials said].

'The ship, believed to be bound for Yemen, was stopped by the Spanish navy about 600 miles from the Horn of Africa.

'US intelligence [we could expect no-one else] had been tracking the ship for weeks and officers will be searching[?!] the vessel, US officials said.

'The missiles, similar to those used by Iraq in the Gulf War, were hidden beneath concrete, they added.'

No sane person would believe this opportunist rubbish, the like of which is daily churned out by CIAgitprop (see-eye-AYE-jitprop). (The conspiracy exists not within the dissolute ragbag concocted as the "axis of evil", but in Langley, the Pentagon and the White House.) But sanity is being swept away in the historic flood of American world hegemonism.

The rest of the West, which trusted the USA as their leader in the Cold War, is now having this trust shamelessly and mercilessly milked by the US cabal (in which this historic flood is centred).

The "Scuddish" idea seems to derive from the similarly got-up shipload of arms, "destined for Yasser Arafat", intercepted by the Israelis earlier this year. Probably the CIA had a helping hand in this, too.

The White House has reiterated its policy of nuclear response to attack by (any type of) weapons of mass destruction. '... it is being seen as a direct message to Iraq'. (BBC Ceefax, 11 Dec. 02, p.108)

'A major public meeting is being staged[!] to discuss the Government's plans to introduce "1984-style" identity cards for everyone in Britain.

'Under proposals by Home Secretary David Blunkett people would be unable to use services like the NHS, schools or libraries without "entitlement cards".

'Dr Rice [Condy, Bush's security adviser] has said that North Korea is one of the major proliferators [of missile technology] — it appears she was busy proliferating again.'

'The US and Qatar have signed a pact formally allowing the Americans to use military airbases in the Gulf state.

'President Bush plans to make smallpox vaccines available to all Americans on a voluntary basis, in an attempt to thwart a possible bio-terrorism attack.

Once in place, the plans can easily be converted to compulsion, especially with the emerging police state in the USA.

'The US defended its right to "stop and search", but admitted the North Korean ship's cargo, was legal, White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said.

"Total Information Awareness": this is the Pentagon's latest hi-tech scheme for establishing an all-seeing Orwellian state. (BBC News 24 at 5am)

'A team at the Pentagon is working on plans to collect as much data as they can about everyone in the United States.

And "terrorist crimes" will soon be any activity the state disagrees with. Apart from the obvious police-state aspect, this news seems also to represent the advance of the military into and over society. Sc. the Northern Command?

'The Ministry of Defence said it was part of a long-planned exercise, ending in the Asia-Pacific region. [Yeah, maybe they'll do their royal bit to knock off North Korea next. :-)]

'It will involve six vessels, including the aircraft carrier Ark Royal, a destroyer, a frigate and a submarine.

'Some 2,600 military personnel [marines] are also reported to be due to set sail.'

'India's ruling Hindu nationalist party has won a watershed election in a state with a history of racial conflict.

'The opposition Congress party conceded defeat after early counting showed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was well ahead in the western state of Gujarat.

'The election was held after bloody Hindu-Muslim clashes in February and March left more than 1,000 people dead.

The BJP and allied hardline fronts are said to want to use Gujarat as a laboratory for the subordination of the Muslims to Hindu culture — and, who knows, ultimately their ethnic cleansing. The BJP is the Indian version of the new right, ostensibly just centre-right, which is emerging worldwide, and which represents the new fascism or right-totalitarianism. These movements are often "fundamentalist" — "Christian" in the case of the USA's ruling spectrum. The latter clearly recognise in the BJP a "fellow traveller", and strategically collaborate" with it to some extent (in "Pakky-bashing").

About two-thirds of the seats in Gujarat went to the BJP, reinforcing their hold on the province.

'Exiled Iraqi dissident groups [meeting in London] have said they will work with the USA in any post-Saddam Hussein regime ...' (ITV Teletext, 15 Dec. 02, p.306)

'Washington has given the CIA permission to kill people on a list of accused terrorists, it has been reported.

'The New York Times says George Bush allowed the killing of the leaders of al-Qaeda and affiliated groups if they cannot be captured.

'Senator Joseph Biden, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, said the policy was "totally appropriate".

Colin Powell has found "problems" with Iraq's arms declaration, saying it appears "suspect". 'He said he expected the US release its full assessment of the document to the UN later this week.' (BBC Ceefax, p.109; ITV Teletext, p.305)

'Four people have been found guilty by a court in India on charges related to an attack on the parliament in Delhi.

'Three were convicted of waging war on the state and the fourth of aiding and abetting those who launched the attack.

'Nine people were shot dead when five gunmen entered the parliamentary grounds last year. [December 2001. Also, there was a massive truck bomb that failed to explode.]

'India blamed the attack on Pakistan — a charge which was denied by Pakistan.'

The above event was India's answer to 9/11. It was probably concocted by the ruling BJP as an excuse to bash Pakistan, and to bring in repressive laws (just as the original was to set up a US police state and Middle East oil empire). That truck bomb conspicuously didn't explode — the BJP were not prepared to blow themselves up in pursuit of their aims, of course!

'A CND [Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament] bid for a High Court declaration that it would be against international law for the UK to wage war against Iraq without a new UN resolution has failed.

'Three judges ruled that the court had no power of interpretation ['no jurisdiction' over, BBC Ceefax] of the UN resolution on Iraq's disarmament.

'CND argued at a two-day hearing last week that there was currently no clear mandate to launch hostilities.'

'The exercises, thought to be for war with Iraq, began on December 9 and involved thousands of senior officers and staff around the world.

'It was to test the ability of the US Central Command to control a war from a portable HQ [!] that was deployed to Qatar last month.'

Britain is to co-operate with the American "son of star wars" missile defence. The early warning system at Fylingdales is to be made available (for a start). Some question why it is needed in this post Cold War age, and when "rogue state" missiles are (as yet) incapable of reaching the US or Britain.

To protect the Anglo-Saxon Evil Empire from the reactions as its American leader takes over the world.

'Fifty police officers are being investigated — eight of whom have been charged — as suspected users of child pornography sites on the internet.

'Details of the police suspects emerged as 32 other people were held in raids[ in London].

'In total, the names of 1,200 suspected paedophiles have been given to detectives by police in the US. [Is it 1,200? Or 2,400? Or 7,200? The figures flap about like a flag in a storm.]

The previous "total worldwide figure" I heard was 75,000, in October, from the US Postal Inspection Service's "Operation Avalanche" — itself a vast increase on the approx. 7,000 from Operation Candyman (announced last March).

Can we get a progressively increasing productivity figure for "paedophile suspects"? One million in 2003, say, five million in 2004, twenty million in 2005 ... an industrial growth rate which will be the envy of the "uncivilised world"?

Holes big enough to drive a tank through, as one of them wittily put it. The puppet king's evil advisers include Condoleeza Rice, the key National Security adviser, who is always forward to concoct excuses, no matter how full of holes, to conquer the Middle East.

'New foot soldiers are streaming into al-Qaeda training camps that have been recently reactivated in eastern Afghanistan, a UN report has warned. ["The Red Army is streaming out of Moscow" towards America, as they said in His Girl Friday.]

'While Osama bin Laden's financial network has been mostly dismantled, his terror network still enjoys significant support, the study on the group said.

And — surprise, surprise — the head of this UN "study" has an English name (Michael something-or-other). A loyal servant, perhaps, of the upcoming American Anglo-Saxon empire.

'Small pockets of al-Qaeda terrorists are operating in the UK and are likely to launch an attack at some stage, according to a senior Whitehall source.

But I question Margolis's idea that the Palestinians will be made 'a self-governing but isolated native reservation surrounded by Israeli forces'. I suspect that only ethnic cleansing will ultimately satisfy the Israeli right, with the Palestinians initially being driven into Jordan (and Egypt?).
