When will you
start recording this new album?
Kev:
We intend to get into the studio on late March,
'cos in February we are going to do a six week tour in the US.
Howie:
Yeah, in this tour has been imposible perform in all the cities we wanted
to so at the beginning of the year we want to do these concerts.
When will be
ready your new album?
AJ:
If evrerything goes as we intend, it would be out in September or October
of the next year. This is our intention.
Have you already
written some songs for this new album?
Brian: Yeah!
More than one. The fact is that we wrote a lot of songs for Millennium
and we didn't record some of them. Maybe they can be on he next album...
Besides, we have written a few songs during our European Tour and we have
started to doing some arrangements with the help of our Band. And they
sound good!
Are you going
to perform out of the US next year?
Howie:
Yes, we'll try to do a small tour in South America. I would love to perform
in Puerto Rico, which is my mom's native country. For me, it would be like
a dream come true, 'cos I fell so close to that country.
Nick:
We also would like to do some concerts in Australia, or even Japan, but
everything depends on our schedule. And I think it's going to be fuller
than what we think... When we start recording the new album we'll need
to devote a lot of time on it.
Brian: We
want that each new work we do surpases the previous one, and that means
work, work and more work.
There is another
places where would you like to perform?
Kev:
We have never been in Rusia, for example, or in Africa. We would love to
perform there and, of course go back to Europe.
When will you
visit us again?
AJ:
Well, we wanted to go there before Christmas, but I think it won't be possible.
We wanna spend x mas with our families and take some time off. We have
been a lot of time on tour and we need it.
Are you going
to get a new tattoo for celebrate the new millennium?
AJ: Yeah!,
I'm so into the tattoo's thing. The last I got it in my belly button, it's
my luck number: 69, altought it doesn't seem it... Now I would like to
get two wings on my back, but it's a hard work and they would need more
that 2 weeks to tattoo it. I also want to get the symbol of our album Millennium.
And what about
you Nick? What about all the projects you had in mind? A solo album, a
book....
Nick:
I have
the solo album thing very forgotten, because I'm very concentrated in the
group. Besides, now we have more musical freedom and we can write songs
for the group with our personal tastes... And about the book, I'm really
looking forward to start writing my own biogrpahy. I know I'm very young,
but I've lived a lot of things that have made me grown up a lot, mentally
and emotionally. And I want to share them with you!
You
tell us once, that you already had the title...
Nick: Yeah,
and I haven't changed it. I want to titled it "Four to Six Feet", 'cos
this is the height the stage use to have and it's the distannce that separate
my life from the normal life that a boy of my age have. (Note:
This is what was written on the mag, but I think if he titled it in that
way, it would be 'cos when he started in the music busines he probably
was around 4 feet and now he is about 6 and then he will tell everything
that has happen to him during this time... but just Nicky knows which will
the title be and why!! )
Talking
about diferences, what would you like to change during the new millennium?
AJ: The
first thing I'm going to do in 2000 is to give up smoking. I don't do it
often, but I want to give it up 'cos I know it's bad for my health... Also,
I would like to obsess myself less with things, relax myself and don't
worrying my head aboud everything.
Brian: I
wanna spend more time with my family and friends, and make up relationships
from the past that I have forgotten a bit, I would like to be with my uncles,
my cousins, my childhood buddies... and show them that nothig have changed,
that I keep needing their affection.
Howie:
I just wish everyting goes as good as now, profesionally and personally.
I also would like to fall in love, but anyway, I'm not going to force nothing...
Eveything comes when it has to.
Kev: I
wouldn't change nothing of my life, but I really wanna do something: Finish
tidying my house! My room need a paint coat urgently and I'm trying to
convince my brothers to help me. Maybe in the new millennium....
Nick:
What would I change? Ummm... I don't know, I can't complain about how the
things go for me! Maybe, I would like to get my feelings straight....
