Defending Against the Squeeze

Sometimes the best thing the defense can do is simply to cash out top winners that they can later be squeezed out of. I have no examples where failing to do this cost a trick, though come to think of it, I've a few cases headed "Squeezed out of an Ace", which I guess are examples of this. The principle is obviously not difficult to understand. The difficulty, of course, is whether one is ready to cash out in that suit or not, which is to say whether one can anticipate the squeeze or not. Examples should be forthcoming.
