Later in the story, another side of Lady's personality is
revealed. Taking off her glasses and letting down her
hair, she becomes OZ's saintly ambassador to the space
colonies, bringing a message of peace, love, and
strength through armed self-defense. This gentle
persona isn't just a pose, but a genuine split
personality; in effect there are two Lady Unes, one as
sweet and meek as the other is venomous and cruel.
As the chaotic political landscape continues to mutate,
Dorothy decides that her pro-war philosophy
supercedes family loyalty. Signing up with the
resistance group White Fang, she continues to
encourage strife and sow the seeds of discord, though
her reasons for doing so may not be what they first
appear...
Twenty years ago, Doctor J and his fellow
scientists created the first mobile suits for the
Romefeller Foundation's OZ subsidiary. When
colony leader Heero Yuy was assassinated, they
quit the project and went underground. Over the
years, their pacifist idealism has been warped
into cynicism and bitterness, and in their zeal to
avenge their martyred hero they've decided to
forsake his peaceful beliefs and use violence to
achieve their goals.
