                  Oz Tragos
Tragos is a short, rotund mobile suit/tank combination. Tragos is designed to lob artillery shells from it's twin mounted Doberguns while Leos do the actual suit to suit combat. A Tragos has the upperbody of a mobile suit, but from the waist down it has been built onto a large hover platform. It is usually armed with a beam rifle in addition to the two Doberguns for short range combat. It is significantly faster than a legged mobile suit but much less manuverable.
Although it's name is a departure from Oz's zodiac symbols,Tragos means "goat" in Greek, so it is a fitting substitute for Capricorn. Aside from higher attack abilities, a Tragos also boasts more armor than a Leo, making it superior in every way except manuverability. While it's hover platform allows it to travel faster than a Leo, the wide surface also it's biggest drawback. The wide platform presents a larger target shiloutte, as well as restricting it's ability to move trough a tight space while a legged suit could have easily.
To battle this weakness the Tragos has been built into two versions: the short, fat half tank, and a tall, legged mobile suit resembling a stylized, bulky Leo. Although the walking version lost it's twin Doberguns, it kept it's heavier armor, and combined with better manuverability makes it a better all around mobile suit when complared to a Leo.
Production of Tragos ceased when the Romefeller Foundation completed it's Virgo mobile doll. Although Leo's were still needed for overseeing and Aires for air cover, Tragos had no purpose in battle and was not further produced. Tragos can still be seen in mobile suit museams around the world, their tank-like body giving off a glimpse of long ago wars.
