Space mobile suits had always been rather dull: The only suit which could operate in space was the Space Leo, which like it's land based conterpart, was relatively unremarkable. However, Oz cahnged all of this. They designed and built a new Zodiac mobile suit, the Taurus. Black and sleek, the Taurus looked much better than a Leo, and actually was. A Taurus was faster and more manuverable than a Leo, and had better weaponry. However, after the six prototypes were sent to space, most Tauruses were never piloted.             A wicked new device which incorporated AI (Artificial Intellegence) was placed in the cockpit of a Taurus, thus changing it from a Mobile Suit to a "Mobile Doll". A Mobile Doll is rightful with it's name: It was unmanned, and given commands from the outside. In a sense, it was just a doll to do your bidding, no questions asked. Mobile Dolls show no emotion. No mercy, no pity, and especially no fear. Unlike most Oz pilots, a Mobile Doll isn't petrified with fear when a Gundam rears it's pointy head. All it thinks is "ENEMY. DESTROY ENEMY." For almost half of the series, the Oz space force, with the Taurus and Space Fortress Barge as it's symbols, ruled outer space. Even the two Gundams that made it into space were disabled by the Tauruses.             A new Mobile Doll was built to keep order of Earth. It was called the Virgo. The sucessful use of the Virgo was the beginning of the end for the Taurus. However, the Taurus couldn't be counsidered obsolete just yet A Virgo was horrible in manuvering, rendering it nearly useless in space combat. A new type of Virgo was designed immediately, but never completed by Oz because of the White Fang's seizeure of the Lunar Base. The White Fang itself used Tauruses in combat until the new type of Virgo could be completed.            While Oz Tauruses were black and purple, the White Fang painted theirs in a bright red and brown. Although the White Fang only used their Tauruses for a short time, the red  suits were credited with shooting down Duke Dermail's shuttle, flinging the Romefeller Foundation into chaos. Shortly afterward the Virgo II production center was completed, and new Virgo's were put into mass production. This signaled the end of the Taurus.
