Since the trend on daytime is men dressing as women, GH elected to go the humor route with Mac (John J. York) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) when the characters dressed to thrill to expose Madame Maia as a fraudulent psychic. The problem? The costumes weren't quite as funny to *wear* as they were to *watch*. "I even had to shave my legs!" marvels York, adding that he had only done that once before "for football when I got my ankles taped." While York has high praise for Costume Designer Bob Miller, he definitely didn't come out of the storyline wanting to trade his Y chromosome for an X. "Between the makeup and the hair and the outfits, they had an engineering crew taking care of us," he quips. "When I first saw Jon in the makeup, I thought, 'Wow, that looks really good.' But then when I saw me all made up, I said, 'We're *never* going to pull this off.'"
