Behold and ponder! Life is but a day
As fragile as a tear drop
Running down a maiden's cheek.

A dry leaf hanging precariously
Blown teasingly by autumn's wind.

The silky web of a spider
In a child's curious hands.

Spite the fragility! Life is wondrous
Rainbows, children, flowers
Beauty forever, joy to behold!
People, friends, family
Warmth in embrace. Delightful!

See the coy smile on a sweet maiden's lips
Listen, the raucous laughter of children
In the front green lawn in summer.
A flower's bower of sweet honey

For everyone, birds, bees and man
Crisp air, glorious sunshine
For the living, trees, animal and man.
Pace to the fore, run joyously

Embrace, hug, hold in your heart
As life is as fragile as it is a joy!
