The X-hale Pads are some of the best stand-up Goal Pads. With the Brock system for rebounding halts hard shots. The Contour Pads are more for a Butterfly style goaltender. When you drop into the Butterfly the 5-hole closes. The Thigh has a protective Guard. Good Prices for these pads are anyway from $899-$1000. Don't Pay anymore for them than that. These are the only 2 good Vaughn Body Pads, and could be the best there are. The 2200 which are on the right are the most comterable and and really protective. The 5500s are not comterable and there is to much protection, you cant move. Price Range $250-300
These Gloves are some of the best when broken in. All young Goaltenders should have a Vaughn glove and blocker, and should try some of there legpads. When they are broken in they are have the ability to stop anything. Price Ranges for leg pads are $500-1000, Gloves could Range from $200-300
