Before I was 16, I don’t ever remember hearing about Jesus. I grow up in a family where religion wasn’t something we talked about. To this Day I am still the only Christian in my Family. Before I became a Christian, I was dating this boy *cough* worshiping this boy. He had what he called a “special to him” relationship with God. I asked a few questions and I can’t even remember what he told me at this time but whatever he said sparked my interest. But because I was young and “in love” with my boyfriend, I didn’t take the time then to get to know God more. After we broke up I started to seek God, like it says in Jeremiah 29:11-14 “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD” (NIV) I found him! I gave my life to Christ after reading a book called “I am the Devil’s Egg.”. This book explained everything to me, and it was also a true story. It talked a lot about God and what he had done for me and YOU! I’m not sure why it just happened like this, why I all a sudden I read one book and I was like, Yes I want Jesus.
