Takato has taken his friend Henry on a cruse ship to Okinawa  Where his Cousin Kai lives. When they arrive in Okinawa they will be staying with Kai and his granpa for a few weeks. There are many surprises comeing up for Henry...maybe someone very special will come into his life.

"Ahhh..." Takato breathed in some air.  "Smell that sea air!"

"Yeah its great." Agreed Henry.  "How much longer till we get to Okinawa?"

"Maybe another  hour." Takato replied.  "Hey wanna go swimming?" he asked cheerfully.

"Again?" Laughed Henry.

"Well what else can we do?" Takato layed his head on the hand rail.  "It gets so boring..."

"Boring?" Henry exclaimed. "Were on a cruse ship!"

"I know....but still." Takato wined.

Heny looked out on the ocean. It was so beautiful...when he saw something like this Rika popped right into his head...he couldn't explain thses feelings because he had not felt like this before...it was all so new to him...and exciteing....just the thought of Rika made him blush as red as a cherry.

"Sure was cool of my mom to let us go alone huh?" Takato asked his friend.

No anwser.

"Henry?" He asked again.

"Huh? wha?" He snapped out of it.

"I said wasn't it cool of my mom to let us come alone?"

"Oh..yeah...it was."

"Dude where you off in dream land or something?"

"Ye- NO!" he blushed. "I was just thinking."

"About what?" Takato asked.

"Nothing..."  Henry replied. "Just nothing."

"Come on..." Takato smiled. "Tell me."

"No!"

"Were you thinking about a girl?"

"Maybe..."

"Oohhh!" Takato was getting more interested.

"Is it Kimmy?"

"No."

"Jen?"

"Luna, Amy ,Chrissy?"

" No, no and no." Henry sighed.

"Okay...is it...uhhh.....Nicci?"

"NO!" Henry was getting annoyed.  "Stop guessing."

"Just one more?" Takato begged. "Please?"

"Alright.." Henry rolled his eyes. "One more guess.."

Takato thought for a monment.

Then a light bulb appeared above his head.

"Is it..........Rika?"

Henry went as red as a  cherry.

"Its Rika." He laughed.

"Is not!!" Henry tired to cover up his face.

"Come on." Takato smiled. "You can tell me. Were best friends."

"Ok...ok..." Henry sighed. " I was thinking about Rika."

"You like her huh?"

"Alot" Henry smiled. "I can never get her off my mind."

"How long this little *crush.* been going on?" Takato asked his friend.

"2 years..." He blushed in embarrassment.

" 2 years?!" Takato shouted makeing everyone look at them.

"Umm...hehehe...nothing!" Takato said nervously to the other people.

They just went back to what they were doing.

"2 years?" Takato looked back to  Henry.

"Yeah....its not really a crush anymore.."

"Love?" Takato asked.

Henry only nodded.

"You should tell her.." Takato out a hand on  his shoulder.

"I guess so..." Henry nodded.

"When you do...you will feel more happy then ever." Takato winked.

"What if she turns me down?" Henry was getting worried about this.

"Just believe in yourself and your love for her." Takato told him.  "It will be fine."

"I hope so." Heny sighed.

"uh...Henry?" Takato  shuttered.

"What?"

"Look." He pointed behind him.

Henry could barely believe his eyes.

"Its Rika!" Takato was shocked. "Whats she doing here?"

"Henry!"

Henry was speachless...she was wearing dark blue jeans and a light red tank top with dark red strips on it. Plus she was wearing her hair down and  a hat.

"Go and talk to her!" Takato pushed him towards her.

"Ah!......"  Henry slowly walked over to Rika who was looking over at the ocean.

"Ahem.." Henry coughed.

Rika looked in  shock to see Henry.

' Hes here.....' She could feel her face turning a bright pink..' and with no shirt......oh yeah... i'm  starting to like this trip now...'

"Hey.." She said cooly.

"Hey.." Henry smiled. " Its...um...good to see...uh....you."

"Um....you too." She replied.

"Beautiful day...." Henry said.

"Very.." She agreed.

"You come alone?" Henry asked her.

She nodded.

"I'm sixteen i can go places myself."

"You have grown into such a beautiful girl...." Henry slapped his hand over his mouth realizeing what he had just said. ' OH CRAP!' he thought.

Rika blushed.

"T...Thank you... your pretty cute too."

"!!!!"  Henry was surprised to hear Rika say this.

"You want to go get a drink?" Henry asked nervously.

"Sure." Rika nodded. " I would love too."

"Good." Henry smiled.

"Takato i will meet you at the room later." He called to his friend then looked back to Rika.

"Shall we?"

"We shall." She smiled.

" So what ya been up to?" Henry asked takeing a sip from his drink.

"Nothing...my mom has been making me take more camera tests."

"Sounds fun." He smiled.

"Not really..."

"So....."

"So....how have you and Takato been? i haven't seen you guys for awhile." Rika took a bite from her sandwige.

"Well...i been good and Takato...has been well..."

"Takato?"

"Exactly." Henry laughed.  "So you heading to Okinawa?"

"Yeah." She nodded. "To visit the town and stuff...."

"Where you staying?"

"Uhh....."

"You dont know yet..." Henry sweatdroped.

"No..."

"Why dont you stay with me and Takato..." Henry said with a hint of hope in his voice.

"Well....sure...i guess so.."  She shrugged.

"Great! this will be fun."  Heny winked.

Rika blushed.

"I guess so..."

"What room you staying in?" Henry asked.

"On the first deck room 214." She replied. "What about you?"

"The second deck ...room 112."

"Shareing a room with Takato must be awful.." She joked.

"You have no idea..."

They both laughed.

"Say....Henry...."

"Yeah?"

"Do...um.....well....." She stumbled for the right words.

"What is it Rika?" He asked softly.

"Later tonight come down to my room to uhh...watch a movie."

' Whooa....did Rika Nonaka just ask...ME to come down to HER room?! i must be dreaming....' he thought in total shock.

"Well...sure." He smiled. " That would be great...what movie?"

"Tokyo monster?"

"Okay! what time did you want me to come?"

"6:30 okay?" Rika asked nervously.

"Sure. Cya then!"

And with that Henry left.

' I cant believe i just did that...' Rika thought to herself.

Takato and Henrys room...

"Whooa dude! Rika asked YOU to go down to HER room?! no way!" Takato was surprised.

"Its true i couldn't believe it myself."

"When you going at?" Takato asked sitting down on the bed and takeing a sip  from his drink.

"6:30." Henry replied  "And by the way shes comeing with us to Kais house."

Takato then spat out his water all over Henry.

"Takato you moron!" Henry shouted.

"Sorry...but shes WHAT?!"

"Coming with us to Kais house. She dont have any other place to stay." Henry repeated.

"Shes not with her mom or grandmother?" Takato asked.

"No." Henry shook his head.

"Well i'm sure Kai wont mind." Takato scratched his head.

"Thank you for your permission."  Henry said sarcastically.

"Your welcome." Takato laughed. "Well its 6:00." Takato looked at his watch.

"Guess i better get ready then." Henry winked.

"Dude!" Takato laughed again.

Rikas room.....

6:30......
 

' Oh...i hope he comes...'  Rika thought nervously.  "Tonight might be the night i tell him i-.."

*knock knock.*

' hes here!"

Rika then opended the door to find Henry standing there.

"Come in." Rika  smiled.

"Thanks." Henry smiled back.

Henry then handed her a red Rose.

"For you." He winked.

"Oh..." She blushed. "Thank you."

"No problem." He smiled.  "So...wanna get watchin?"

"S..Sure...." Rika shuttered. "I will put the movie in."

"Cool."

15 minutes later...

They were sitting on the bed watching the movie. Once and awhile Henry would look at Rika or Rika would look at Henry. Henry wanted to put his arm around her but the fear of Rika killing him stopped him from doing so.

' What should i do?'  thought Henry. ' the yawn trick?....nah thats too old...oooh!! what...'

Just then Rika let out a warm sigh and layed her head down on Henrys shoulder.

' EH?! did Rika just put her head on my shoulder?!' Henry was shocked.

So he put his arm around her and pulled her in a bit closer.

Henry then used his finger to lift up her chin to make her look at him.

"Your so beautiful..." He said softly.

"I'm not..." Rika was red as a cherry. Was this really happening?

"Yes you are...i never seen anyone more beautiful then you..." Henry replied not taking his eyes off her for a second.

' Maybe this is the time to tell him....courage Rika...courage!'

"Henry....i..uhh......"

"What?" He asked leaning in closer....and closer...

"Henry i-...."

Rika was cut off when Henry kissed her. He wrapped his arms around her kissing her with more and more passion each second. When he felt her lips had enough he started kissing at her neck.

"Henry....." She said softly.

"mmm?" He mumbled into her neck.

"Stop.." She giggled.

Henry stopped and looked at her.

"Sorry..." He chuckled.  "So what did you wanna tell me?"

"That...i.....that i....."

"That you??"

"Henry i love you!" She finally said.

"Whoa...hold the phone.." Henry was shocked. " Did you just say you love me?"

Rika nodded.  "Yes."

Rika stood up.

"I understand if you....."

Henry grabbed her arm.

"No no! Rika....i love you too.....i have for a long time now." Henry pulled her back into his warm arms.

Rika could feel the tears in her eyes.

"Henry......." She sobbed. "I'm sorry.....for all the bad things i said to you in the past.....i'm sorry...."

"Shhh...." He hushed her. "Its okay..."

" Oh Henry..... i........ love...... you so much...." she chocked out.

"I love you too..." He said  softly.  "Just as much.."

"Oh Henry....."

"Rika......"

Then the two held each other  wanting that monment to never end...

Next morning.....

When Henry woke up he looked and saw Rika had fallen asleep in his arms.

He smiled.

"My little Rika....." He chuckled.

Henry then looked at the clook on the night table.

"Takato must be wondering were iam..." Henry said softly. "I better get back."

He then slowly  got up from the bed and layed Rika down.

"Mmm......" Rika was wakeing up.

"Henry?" She sat up. "Where you going?"

"Just to let Takato know i'm still alive..." He joked.

Rika gave him a sly smile. "Okay but hurry back." She winked.

Henry blushed and left.

Takato and Henrys room.....
 

Henry brust in the room with excitement.

"TAKATO!"

"WHA!" Takato fell out of bed.  "Whooa...whats up dude?" He rubbed his eyes.

"I  told Rika!" He smiled.  "And she loves me too!"

"Hey thats wonderful Henry!" Takato  smiled.  "So you two a couple now?"

"Well....we didn't really talk about that yet...but i would think so.."

"Henry we should be arriveing in Okinawa soon."  Takato told him. "So if your going to meet Rika be back here in like an hour or so.."

"How do you know?" Henry asked.

"Me and my mom been to Okinawa  once." He replied.

"Well okay!" And with that Henry left.

Rikas room....
 

"So?" Rika wrapped her arms around Henrys waist. "What are we? friends or what?" She asked.

"What do you think?" Henry asked her. "You ready for a relationship?"

"Yeah...if you are." She smiled.

"I been waitting for 2 years! of course i'm ready." He laughed.

Rika giggled and kissed him.

"Then its settled were a couple." She smiled slyly.

"Yeah." Henry smiled back.

Then they started to make out...

Knock knock!

"Huh?....oh it must be goggle head..." Rika moaned in annoyance.

"Rika..." Henry chuckled. "He don't wear goggles anymore."

"Still...."

KNOCK KNOCK!

"Coming i'm coming!" Henry answered. "Yeah?"

"Henry come on! were docking soon!" Takato told him.

"Okay." Henry looked at Rika. " Better get your stuff ready Rika."

Rika nodded. "Okay."

"When you do meet me at my room okay?"

"Kay." She nodded again.

hour later...

"Wow...Okinawa  is sure a big city." Henry exclaimed.

"Yeah.." Agreed Rika.

"Well lets get   going to Kais house." Takato smiled.

Henry and Rika nodded ,  held hands and started walking.

KNOCK KNOCK

"Hello?" a boy answered.  "May i help you?"

"Kai its me Takato." He replied  kindly.

"Oh Takato! i didn't know it was  you with out your goggles." he slapped his fourhead. "Welcome! and please come in!" he greeted.

"Thanks." They said.

"What ya been up to Takato?" Kai asked taking a sip of pop.

"Nothing much." Takato replied. "You?"

Kai sighed.  "Well...grandpa died last month."

"WHAT?!" Takato shouted. " What didn't you send us a letter and tell us?"

"I'm sorry." Kai apologized. "I guess i kinda forgot..."

"Its okay." Takato nodded.

"So who are thses people?" Kai asked.

"Oh these are my friends Rika and Henry." Takato replied looking toward the couple.

"Hey guys. Nice to meet you!" Kai greeted.

"You too." Henry smiled.

Henry lightly elbowed her.

"Hey." She finally said.

"Hey." Kai smiled.  "So...your Rika eh?"

"No i'm Henry and hes Rika! of course iam you dork!" Rika snorted.

"Rika....." Henry told her. "Be nice."

Rika huffed and looked away.

"Sorry..." Henry apologized. "She's not usually like this..."

"Its cool." Kai smiled.   "Say tommorow ya guys wanna go out for some ice cream?"

"Sure!" Takato smiled.

"Okay." Henry nodded.

"Whatever..." Rika glanced to her side.

"Do you have a problem with me or something?" Kai asked. He thought Rika was being kinda rude.

"Now  why would you think that?" Rika replied sarcasticly.

"Rika please..." Henry begged. " Be nice.."

Rika crossed her arms and looked to Henry.

"Fine." She replied. " I will be nice."

Henry sighed in relief.

"Good." He smiled.

"So...for now ya guys wanna go out back and swim in the lagoon?"

"Sure." Takato and Henry both said.

"How bout you missy?" Kai asked.

"I will just watch..." Rika replied.

"Okay.. lets go!"

out back.....

Rika sat on the porch and red a magazine while Kai , Takato and Henry swam.

"Say...Henry?"

"Yeah Kai?" Henry asked.

"Yer girlfriend seems....uhh shy."

"I guess she's not use to being this far away from home." Henry said.

"How long ya been seeing her?" Kai asked.

"Not long..." Henry replied.  " She became my girlfriend like yesterday night.."

"I hope things turn out good for you guys." Kai smiled.

"Me too." Takato also smiled.

"Thanks.." Henry looked to Rika.  "Thanks......"

"I got an idea!" Kai beamed.

"What?" Henry looked to Kai.

"Theres a carnival in town and maybe tommorow night you can take her."

"Thats a great idea Kai." Henry smiled. " She will love that."

"Yeah." Agreed Takato.

"Its setteled then!"

"Yeah." Kai and Takato nodded.

Tommorow night.....

"A Carnival?" Asked Rika.  "In town?"

"Yeah!" Nodded Henry. "And just the two of us will go."

"Like a date?" Smiled Rika.

"Yeah." Smiled Henry. " Like a date.."

"Should we get going?" Rika asked.

Henry nodded and turned to Kai and Takato who were playing checkers.

"Were off you guys." Henry told them.

"Bye!" Kai waved.

"Check mate!" Takato replied.

"DUDE!" Kai shouted.

The Carnival...
 

"Where do you want to go first?" Asked Henry.

"Hmmm..." Rika looked around.  " I dont know.."

"How about we get something to eat first?" He suggested.

"Sure." Rika smiled.  "Lets get pizza!"

After the couple got some pizza they played a few games and went on a few rides. Rika seemed to be haveing a wonderful time. This really pleased Henry. Just then Henry spoted a dance floor.

"Look Rika." Henry pointed.  "Lets go  dance."

"Dance?" She asked.

"Yeah." Smiled Henry. "Come on it will be fun!"

Henry then pulled her onto the dance floor.

"Okay this next dance is ladies choice."  The man called out.

Henry took Rikas hand and she put a hand on his shoulder  as they did a slow dance and the music started.

Then the song ended and Henry and Rika looked at each other and leaned in and gave a small but passionet kiss.

The crowed went " Awwwwwwwwwwww" Over the cute couple who was now blushing in embarrassment.

"Lets go and get a seat for the fire works." Henry told her.

Rika nodded. " Yeah lets go."

The fire works shot into the air and the couple watched with amazement. As one fire work after another went off into the diamond sky.

Rika layed her head on Henrys shoulder and he put his arm around her.

"This has  been the best night of my life..." Rika smiled.

"Mine too." Henry agreed.  "I'm finally with the person i love."

Rika blushed and they shared another kiss. But this one was longer...and they  didn't care who was watching....

Week later....

On the ship back to Japan...

Rika and Henry were outisde takeing a good look at Okinawa..it might be awhile before they come back for another visit. Rika was looking forward to it because this is where they had their first date. Takato , Henry and Rika all agreed this has been the best summer ever!
