My emotions and feelings
have a mind of their own.

I know it won't go no further
then friendship for us,
but still they seek to find
one way of coming out of me.

I struggle to control they're calling.
but to no avail.
I should just stay clear
but you draw me like no other.

I try to say no
but my lips always say yes.
So I settle instead for second best,
and go on saying it is only for awhile.
Then I won't have to keep feeling like this.

Or will I?
