One of the most popular gen z pairings around. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading T/P - I've bean reading about them since I first surfed the net. I'm writing this because I'm really mad at a T/P fan right now, that's all. This T/P fan just recently flammed me and demanded to know why I didn't think T/P worked out as a couple. I think T/P would do just fine in the fan world, but no way is it canon.

The Age Gap

Fourteen years apart to be exact. Most T/P fans bring up examples like Dr. Briefs and his wife, but no one really knows Dr. Briefs' age so they base it on looks. His wife looks pretty young and perky while he looks alot older. I really hate it when they do that. Doesn't Bulma look like she's in her twenties when really she's alot older? Well, what about her mom? Perhaps her mother is older than she looks? We don't know for sure, do we? Point is, age does become a factor in a relationship. Like a sixty year old man marrying a sixteen year old. o.O Trunks is old enough to be her father.

Sayain Blood

T/P fans always point out that because Trunks and Pan have sayain blood, it means that they could "save the sayain race". Please, the Sayain race was doomed from the start. If both did produce children, than it would only delay it a few generations. (Read more about it here, she explains it way better than I do.)

A Sister/Brother Realationship

Trunks and Pan will always have, to me, a sister/brother relationship. Pan did seem to have a crush on him, so some T/P lovers make a big deal out of that. They ignore the fact that Pan was a teenager. Teenagers have crushes all the time, and it doesn't automatically mean that she was in love with him.

A Way More "Interesting" Couple

Some T/P lovers have been stating more than once that T/P would make a more interesting couple because, and I quote, "..they're both sayains. They could go on adventures with each other because they like to fight, not like Marron..." Lately, I've been feeling that no one has ever watched Gt before. To put it bluntly: Trunks has grown up to be a wimp. He is no longer the cocky, troublemaker we used to know and love. Just look at his clothes for goodness sake. ~_~ He has stopped training, and had to be forced to go on the dragonball hunt by his father. After the dragonball hunt, and the dragonballs are gone again, Pan even suggests that they go on another dragonball hunt and Goku and Trunks refused.

The Gt Ending

Anyone who has watched Gt should know that in the ending, we see a 114 year old Pan, cheering on her grandson at the tournament, who is competing against Trunks' grandson. There you have it, proof. Pan herself, thinks that it was his grandson too. But the T/P fans still insist that the ending is a bunch of nonsense and chooses to ignore it because it was obviously rushed. o.o; Yeah, Gt may've sucked... but then why don't you ignore all of Gt including all the precious little Trunks and Pan moments since the show was clearly stupid and rushed and Toriyama didn't even write it?
