Short Dog Silver

Real name Rudy (Robert) Newton, this swashbuckling stunt star earned his nick-name while filming Treasure Garden. Doubling as the pirate lead John, Short-Dog amazed us with his rope tricks and his swordplay! He may not manage to scale the rigging but he can scramble under it faster than anyone. When it comes to finding treasure, he's a super fast digger with a nose for the right spot! He is skilled at marking significant places but prefers not to discuss the tragic stunt with 2 parrots and a burning torch - the phrase "tastes like chicken" should suffice!
