It gets better yet ... or should I say
...It climaxes.... It was late spring 1985...I was 14 years old.
I had gone to a camping outing for 2 weaks in a campground in
a very green area out in a mountain area in Spain. One day we
were all in line marching towards the little medieval town
closest to the campground.
As we were marching closer and closer
to the town ... we could here louder and louder the music pumping
out of the town's high tech disco...wait!!..when we got close
enought and the music became recognizable I realized it
was Lime. It was a new song I hadn't heard. It was KILLER...
it turned out to be UNEXPECTED LOVERS. That electronic
percussion...there!!
Unexpected Lovers is just such an amazing song...such
a memorable chorus!!.
Needless to say it became a huge Chart pop hit in Europe!
But even in the U.S. without any promotional budget...
it became a radio hit in L.A.
The LP was also called "Unexpected Lovers".
Of course another great thing about this and
other LIME releases is the beautiful "Aerography"
sleaves.
Second single in germany was "Do your time on the planet"
