A variety of colonial crafts and skills are demonstrated by the Militia. This promotes family participation among the membership and provides a wide range of educational activities. These include sewing, wool and flax spinning, candle dipping, camp cooking, basketry, leather working, horn work,silversmithing, cartridge making, woodworking, and seamanship. The public is encouraged to ask questions and examine the equipment used by the participants.
