The militia sets up camp and invites all to see what life was like on
Long Island in the year 1775. It is troubled time at the
beginning of the Revolutionary War. Independence from Great Britian has
not yet been declared, yet a war rages with England in Boston.
The Militia prepares. See miliitamen drill with muskets, see and hear
the roar of muskets as they are fired. Watch as the canon is prepared and FIRED! Interact with people of the past as they go
about thier lives demonstrating day to day tasks - cooking, sewing,
entertainment.

Speak with people of the past. Hear thier opinions - share yours!
Take part in a militia drill.
You and YOUR CHILDREN can learn how to march and fire a musket in battle!
See cooking over an open camp fire.
Hear 18th Century MUSIC played!
PLAY 18th CENTURY FAMILY GAMES.
