* About the Digital OPL2 Recordings: The Yamaha OPL2 FM synthesizer (used in Adlib, Sound Blaster, Sound Blaster Pro 1, and etc.) is a completely digital synthesizer. Using a specially built circuit board, it was possible to directly record the digital data from the OPL2. Thus, the recordings have zero analog noise and the signal-to-noise ratio is (arguably) infinity.
