Albert Eckstein's sister, Miriam Weaver (MIRIAM.WEAVER@DFAS.MIL), sends a message about Al's life and passing.  She indicates he actually graduated from Manistique, MI.  Al was living in Gas City, IN, when he died in August, 1995, due to injuries sustained in a freak motorcycle accident  with a wrecking truck.  He had attended a family reunion just one week before.  Al was employed as a payroll supervisor at Thompson Electronics (RCA) of Marion, IN.  He often returned to Lincoln to visit such friends as Dick Glick."
