• A Memorable Sight!
  Yesterday at school I walked into the science classroom and saw something I think I will always remember. The science teacher saw me stop and stare, and said "What are you looking at, Linda?"

I said "Look!" and pointed to a group of five other students working together on a science project. The teacher looked, and said "What? All I see are those five kids over there and their project!"

I said "Each of those students is from a different country. Look, Greece, Holland, Britain, Malaysia, and Africa" I said, pointing to each student. Yet they're all working together in harmony, side by side, to help each other achieve something. Isn't that wonderful? The whole world should be doing that!"

• A Bad Morning
  This morning Dad and I were feeling irritable with each other and Dad was grumpy about something and I snapped at him and he snapped back and I burst into tears and ran into my room. We have our bad days from time to time, but fortunately it doesn't happen too often. Like any other relationship I suppose.

This afternoon Dad and I kept out of each other's way! I don't think I'll write any more diary today. Maybe tomorrow I'll feel better. I think the magic potion "Carbo Veg", which is making me more assertive, may be making me more irritable as well!
