METAMORPHOSIS took place at the chuch in northbridge on may 2nd 2002, a thursday night. this event was THE event for ams this semester. it started from 9pm, and the last person left the doors at 4:15am the next morning. over 500 clubbers came on the night, and the atmosphere there was one of excitement and euphoria. the programs lined up for the night were: an opening dance performance, a strip tease and a lucky draw.the night started with a slight drizzle. we, the committee from ams feared the worse. thankfully by 9:00pm on the dot, we had our first two clubbers coming in. by 10:30pm, the dance floor was packed. great music was played by dj's riki and kenny l throughout the night. it was evident that the crowd loved the dj's taste.

the night was one full of events. after over an hour of hardcore dance music , the first highlight of the night took place. by 11:45pm, the stage was cleared and eight girls from the ams' committee performed an opening dance, a medley of "viva" and kylie minogue's "fever". the dance lasted for about five minutes, after which the crowd cheered and returned to the dance floor.

by 12:30 midnight, there was a strip tease that lasted for 20 minutes. she came on stage, looking and dancing like shakira, and lap danced on a guy throughout her whole performance. unfortunately, i am unable to post pictures of her performance on this site. :o( at 2am, the winners from the lucky draw were announced. some of the prizes were a trip to africa as well as some vouchers from the sponsors. a full list will be uploaded on this site shortly.
