This is mainly to the folks in northern california but if anyone will be here for Lily Lau's tournament, you may have a chance to attend as well.

We are guaging interest in a lion dance seminar with GrandMaster Chiu Wai. He will be performing at the Lily Lau tournament on Saturday June 20th. We are thinking of hosting him for a lion dance seminar on Friday June 19th.

GrandMaster Chiu Wai is a Hung Gar master originally from Hong Kong and currently living in Calgary, Canada. He learned from his father Chiu Kao who studied with Lam Sai Wing. He is the sifu of Wing Lam and Gobert Yeung (on this list). He has a long history in Hung Gar and Lion Dance. He is knowledgable in the old traditions and will be teaching both traditional and modern techniques.

Depending on interest, we are looking at having the seminar on Friday June 19th from 6:00 - 10:00pm at the Wing Lam Kung Fu studio in Sunnyvale. The cost would be $60.00 per person or $50.00 per person for groups of 3 or more. If you have a large group, we could provide a larger discount.

Please let me know if anyone would be attending so we can make the final decision or arrangement. Or if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

    Thanks,

    Stephen
