    Hi Jason,

Yes, they usually do. Usually they will video only the ten finalist.

    Hi Jason,

What do you mean by 'half decent'? What exactly are you looking for?

    Hi Jason,

I think most of the big liondancing team are on the web and I think people on this list knows them (all?). It takes a lot of time to put a page together and especially with images...it takes more time to scan, edit, pollish the image, then link it and upload it...it also takes a lot of disk space too. In this regard, I think it is understandable that not much images are online and not many liondance team have the time to update and edit their sites.

I would also like to see more images of team performances too...My team also have lots of images that I can post on the web for you all to view but I do not have the time for it and I am sure a lot of other teams are in the same situation.

Jason, I hope this helps explains why....

**Can any one else comment on this issue: Why don't we have more Liondance team images online for others to view?

Lets keep this list liven up! Everyone, please comment! :-)

    Thanks!

    Hi People,

I'm very proud to announce that our lion\dragon dance group was chosen to be in the New Wesley Snipes movie, "Art of War", which is currently being filmed here in montreal. We were there this weekend filrming for 2 days. We were out side in sub zero tempuratures filming a "melenium party" in front of a big millionaire's hotel. Our scene was part of a big action scene where someone parashoots off a building and into a big inflated drgon then being pulled away by a speeded news truck. The special dragon that the production company had gotten made was very impresive... it was the size of a small sedan. It took 6 people to hold the head alone. The first day was freezing... considering we had to wait till it was dark outside to start filming, and the forcast had caled for rain or freezing rain... we got a light drizzel. the next day, the farecast was clear... however it was colder and windyer than the day before. Keep in mind that our scene was taking place in hong kong... it doesn't get too cold there... so our costumes were mostly either short sleeve shirts or really this fung fu shirts, and the other extras were in tuxedos and party dresses. Everyone got to take a picture with Wesley snipes... we even got one of him when he was trying on a lion head. It was an experience to remember... The film is called "Art of War" staring Wesley Snipes due out in theaters in July 2000.!!!

    Jason.
